I visited the store to buy a ski mask ahs some ski pants. I was literally in the store for an hour just to purchase these two items. The delay was entirely caused by Anita (who is apparently the owner!) Spending and excessive amount of time engaging in personal conversations with the other customers and not even acknowledging the customers (such as me) with whom she wasn't speaking. I finally had to interrupt another staff member (only two people working) to insist that my transaction be completed. He was very accommodating as apologetic, but when I asked for contact information for the manager, he gave me the option of speaking wth Anita, the chatty owner. As speaking with her obviously wasn't going to be productive (after all, i likely would have waited another hour for her to finish chatting, I simply left. However, I will NEVER return, and I hope this review dissuades others from patronizing this establishment. To the owner Anita: when running a small business, retaining customers is absolutely critical. As such, your lack of customer focus...
Read moreI came to Get Outdoors 365 to rent a hardtail mountain bike last weekend. There was a sale going on to buy their rental bikes. I am in the market for a bike, so I asked if I could have my rental money go towards the purchase if I liked it. They said no that I would either have to rent it or buy it. So, I decided to just buy it and ride out with it. They told me the reason was that they could rent the bike for one more day and make more money. "This is just how we do business" was how they justified disappointing a customer that was ready to pay them hundreds of dollars. I was in a hurry so I ended up renting the bike and it was fine, but I certainly wouldn't come here again and I want others to know how they conduct business and treat...

After coming out of hospital, my partner and I went to all the "mountain trekking" shops in mammoth looking for oxygen to buy: to be told by the staff in these shops "electrolytes will fix the low oxygen saturation levels".... Seriously!!!?? WTF. And None of these shops had oxygen. Just by chance... My partner stumbled in to Get Outdoors 365... And was helped/supported by a cracking team and returned back to the apartment (where I was gradually becoming more ill!!) With the canisters of oxygen. Our special holiday became special again thanks to Anita and her forethought into ensuring she had the right stock for a mountain...
