NEURODIVERGENT PEOPLE:
PLEASE BRING YOUR NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES WITH YOU.
THE OWNER HAS A MEGAPHONE AND WON'T STOP SCREAMING INTO IT IN A STORE THAT'S ACTUALLY AN ECHO CHAMBER!!!!!!!
I gave them two stars just because I like shopping here. A lot of people complain that it's dirty and messy, but that's the whole point. You're getting things that can cost $50-$300 for anywhere between $1-$10... That's not my issue.
My issue is with the dude screaming into his megaphone, in a store that's way too big and too tall for what they're selling, so it creates a sort of echo chamber with the megaphone. He has the volume set on high on that thing and it pierces my eardrums because it sounds so loud and so BAD. I'm 30 years old, I went to school to work on interior electrical detailing and interior and exterior vinyl detailing. I've trained in a school where blasting your speakers above 130 dB is not uncommon. I've worked at nightclubs for 14 hour shifts and went to after parties afterwards with 120-130 dB blaring in my ears all night. I still have good hearing. That megaphone has GOT TO GO.
When I complained about this to the cashier, she rolled her eyes and said something to the other cashier. The other cashier screamed at my boyfriend for putting his stuff down on a counter while he went to go look for me because I needed to leave because the megaphone was giving me anxiety.
Both cashiers have the WORST attitudes, it takes ZERO customer service experience to be kind to anyone, but especially a customer.
I get that this place goes along with the "you get what you pay for" concept, but there's no need to shout into a megaphone, there's no need to scream at customers and get into arguments with them, and there's no need to roll your eyes at customers when they're trying to give you constructive feedback on something that might drive certain customers away for good.
Also, the fluorescent lighting doesn't help the anxiety while dude here is screaming into his lil megaphone that is SO FREAKING LOUD.
If you come here, bring: • noise cancelling headphones • a good playlist/podcast/audiobook • tinted...
Read moreI bought a tablet here and was told I can return it if it's done within 2 days. The tablet wasn't working properly and I decided to return it the next day. When I showed up and spoke with the same cashier I was then told I can exchange it for store credit. I told them I want my money back and didn't want store credit $90. Now I'm stuck with $90 store credit and nothing to buy. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Teach your cashier to not be dishonest and vague when people are purchasing items. He clearly said I can return it within two days and he knew that wasn't the case. He should have clearly stated, like you did when I came back the next day, that there are no refunds or returns. We both knew he just wanted to make the cash sale.
BUYERS BE CAREFUL DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
There will be no next time because this business doesn't care if it loses customers by the way...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible and greedy. When they first opened, they wouldn’t sort through the items before the $1 day came so you would find good deals. Now, they sort through the items before the cheaper days come that way you can’t get anything good for $1. They don’t even hide it. The buckets are completely ran through. It is super misleading to longtime customers who have been going there for a while. Tonight when I left the store, there was a man, holding a cigarette with smoke blowing in my face that followed me out to my car and took my wallet out of my cart. I quickly grabbed it from him but that was so rude and inappropriate. You do not touch anyone’s personal belongings. Almost seemed like he thought I was trying to steal, even though my cart was completely empty. I will never be coming back here absolutely disgusting staff with no customer service...
