Buyer beware of this company! Very dissatisfied with the management's idea of customer service. I had been going to Amazing Lash since October 2016, I enjoyed my lashes, and never had any issue with the lash consultants. My issues came in when I had a scheduled appointment for 9:00am on a Saturday morning. I was early to my appointment and at approximately 9:20 I was told the lash consultant had a personal issue come up and the receptionist was waiting to hear when she thought she may be in. I waited until 9:30 and was then told they weren't sure when she would be in. I could wait and move into the next person's appointment time or reschedule. I didn't want to disrupt the next person's appointment and asked if someone else could fit me in at that time, the answer was no. I asked when they could get me in next and was given a date two weeks out or come in during the business day hours the following Wednesday. For me during the business day isn't acceptable because I work. Two weeks out seems like a lot to ask when it wasn't me cancelling the appointment but Amazing Lash that had the issues. I left and said I would call back and speak to the manager John, since he wasn't available at that time. I called back the following Monday morning and asked to speak with John, he wasn't available and I left a message. I returned my call again on the following Thursday since I had not heard back from John. I did speak with him and explained everything to him asking to have my membership cancelled. While he did apologize to me for the cancellation of my appointment, he also told me how difficult it is to get good help, that young people today had no sense of urgency to get to work. He then also said he would be able to accommodate me with an appointment that weekend. I let him know I wasn't willing to make another appointment, drive the 30 minutes for me to get there again and possibly have another cancellation. At this time I wanted to cancel my membership without paying another month. He assured me the membership would be cancelled without any additional fees. I thanked and moved on. However, he did not keep his word, Amazing Lash again charged my account the monthly fee. I don't believe John has a true understanding of customer service truly means. Read moreI ignored the bad reviews on this place because I have a friend who goes here and has mostly good experiences, other than the times a stylist has glued her lashes together. I should have trusted the other reviews and gone anywhere else but here. For starters, the venue is really sad and depressing. If you are interested in econo lashes, be prepared that you really are getting the McDonalds of lashes. These are your eyes, people! The rooms are these sad, stained beds that make you question whether they get cleaned, a little sink. There are no places for your belongings. The music from the studio next door vibrates the wall as you start to wonder if this is all worth the money. In preparation, they taped my lashes on the bottom down, and the top lashes also got taped. This was the first bad move- she ripped half of them out when she took the tape off. I said I wanted my lashes to look natural but beautiful, and I had concerns about being too long. I was not offered any particular options on length, so I figured message received. Wrong- they were soo long, they hit the top of my eyelid. When the person closed out the appointment, she did not provide a brush as she is supposed to and was more focused on trying to sell me their lash products. I noticed after I left that a few lashes were pointing straight up, so I called to state my concerns. I am now a week out, and my right eye lashes are in full on mutiny. I have several eyelashes that are facing the wrong way on my right eye (see the picture). They are all clumped together and no amount of brushing makes them look good- I’m resorting to mascara, which was the point of getting lashes at all. I’m also noticing the lashes are also coming out in clumps, which has me extremely concerned about the application process, which should be 1:1. I’ve had lashes twice before and I know the drill. Never have I had the experience I had at this place. I took off a half day of work to go to Maple Grove to get these done. I did schedule a removal (twice) and tried to get back there but unfortunately I just couldn’t make it in my working single mom schedule. Read moreI would not recommend this place. I was scheduled for 2 hours for a eye lash removal and a full set since I had lashes else where. The removal took a total of 15 mins. I sat in the salon for over 2 hours and 45 mins. The girl that did my lashes was super sweet but she is not experienced and the manager came in during my session to check on her and I couldn't figure out why until I realized she passed her 2 hour window. Not only did it take over 2 hours for a full set she glued my eye lashes shut to the strips. She couldn't remove the glue in some areas so she had to go get the manager and keep in mind no one told me what was going on. I had to ask what happened and the manager said she glued my lashes shut. After inspecting my lashes I had some curled in different directions I was quiet disappointed.. the manager came back in checked my lashes and helped remove a long lash that was going in a different direction and told the technician the reason why it did that was because you made her lashes too long. Ok so now you have made it very clear to me that your staff is not experienced. In the end I would never return and highly recommend you stick to a salon that isn't a franchise. I am still in shock at how everything was handled from the manager and when I walked out it felt like everyone knew what happened and didn't want to say anything and the manager clearly avoided me and did not even apologize for my experience.
Update 11/17/16 After my experience the owner John reached out to me and asked me to return to have them take a look at my lashes. I appreciated he was concerned and wanted to fix what had happened. My lashes had fallen out significantly within 5 days. I was referred to Vicki which she is awesome! I had a great 2nd experience and she corrected my lashes.
