I worked here over the whole summer of 2015, so I feel I can give a good evaluation. TL;DR I like it!
The management at this place is great. The general manager Laura really loves her job and you can tell she's dedicated to the Noodles brand. The shift managers are a fun bunch and will do anything to make the customer satisfied. For as busy as the restaurant gets at times, its amazing that they can keep up. They try to get order out as fast as possible, especially after working in the kitchen I know that to be true. And if you ever don't like your dish, you can always ask for a "Satisfy" which they'll give you something else to try for free.
Also from working in the kitchen, I know all of the ingredients they use are fresh. They make Noodles twice a day and the ingredients are prepared in the morning. My favorites were the Alfredo MonteAmore , the Japanese Pan and add steak, and the BBQ Pork mac(a secret menu item with Pork, BBQ sauce, and onion chips) for any of the dishes you dont like a particular ingredient, you can substitute it out for one that you do. For example if you don't like mushrooms in the Penne Rosa, you can sub it out for more tomatoes or any other vegetable. The rice crispies are pretty good and are made in restaurant twice a day.
The overall restaurant decor is typical Noodles fashion. Some of the cushions are torn, but they won't replace them until they absolutely need to. I know that might turn people off, but they have many expensese that they need to pay for. Generally the restaurant is clean, but sometimes when it gets super busy its hard for the buser to keep up.
Overall, I have an appreciation for this restaurant. The crew is hard working and friendly, the food is great, and the speed of service is fast. It was hard work, but at the end if the day I can be proud of the work that is put into this place. I'd highly...
Read moreThis review is specifically about the order ahead pick-up process at the Maple Grove location. I typically place a call in order 1-2 times per month and always have the same issue every time.
The person on the phone tells me to specifically go to the order ahead register which is clearly marked with a sign to skip the line and that I will be helped right away since I ordered ahead of time. Every single time I go, I am left standing at the order ahead register being ignored by staff. The staff on the other registers keep taking orders from people in line and completely ignore the fact that I am standing right there as I can see my order sitting in the bag getting cold. Multiple staff walk by and ignore me and even when they are just standing around, they don’t acknowledge me. I eventually have to interrupt the staff on the main register to get their attention and they always give me nasty looks like I’m doing something wrong. I order ahead so I can get my food fast and leave, not to wait standing for 10 minutes because of your staff ignoring me.
Please either make sure someone is monitoring the order ahead area at all times or train your staff to take turns helping customers in line ordering and order ahead customers instead of ignoring them. Also, please tell your staff to stop lying on the phone when they say to specifically go that register to get helped right away and not have to wait.
Terrible customer service and it honestly seems like a complete waste to have the order ahead area when it would be faster to wait in the normal line. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. I will be going here much less now because I am very tired of being treated this way every time which is sad since I greatly...
Read morejust disgusting food. i’ve never had an issue with noodles and company until i went to this location. the first time i ordered tofu it was completely charred. beyond burnt, black and charred over and inedible. the second time i ordered a simple mac and cheese with tofu, which they messed up even worse. there was no cheese sauce, just noodles absolutely packed into my container and a huge amount of shredded cheese piled on top making it incredibly thick and difficult to eat. my tofu was put in a different container, which i did not ask for, and was again very burnt but for some reason it was cooked in teriyaki sauce. that isn’t even an option on the menu. i checked my order to make sure i picked up the right order and made sure the receipt said what i did actually order, and it simply was wisconsin max & cheese with tofu, so i have no idea where they got the idea that i wanted the disgusting combination of teriyaki sauce and near an entire bag of shredded cheddar cheese. it was absolutely disgusting and COLD and inedible. additionally, i tried to get a sprite from the fountain soda machine and it wasn’t even sprite. it tasted like lime la croix. very confused why this location is so god awful compared to the others but stay away...
