Thunderbolt Anime/Gift Shop — Local services in Maplewood

I didn't noticed of this anime gift shop is much older and still business kept going ever since 2021. As for me, I visit to this anime gift shop wherever my siblings and I arrived to the Maplewood Mall.

Thunderbolt Anime Gift Shop is the 2-star anime store according to other anime stores in Chicago and Florida. They must've been working hard to sell anime posters, hoodies, display figures, and keychains for a new anime fans come to visit to buy a few things.

I believe this anime gift shop really needed help for created something new ideas to make it more a new features, new employees, new security, and of course, added the most underrated anime stuff in the future.

I put it 3 out of 5 stars instead. In my opinion, as I said in early, it is the 2-star anime store.

store itself is fine, inside is a-bit crowded with all the shelves and stands. It’s not very well organized. The employees there are very helpful and amazing to talk to! They seem to be restocking, cleaning and does an amazing job. Products like their stuffed animals, clothing, and figures etc are from China. So their products aren’t legit. I can find some of their products online where it’s a lot cheaper. 1 mini figure keychain is the same price as one of their medium figures which I don’t understand. Their cards are 100% legit but then they charge their cards for the maximum amount. with the prices and the products they have, I’m assuming on the weekdays where it’s less busy there’s not too many sales and on the weekends where it’s a bit busy they get somewhat of sales. Me and my cousin was followed by one of the worker there who treated us as thieves, whenever we move to a different area of the store, he would follow us and pretends to look somewhere else, when it's obvious he was checking to see if we will steal something. There was no one at the store at the time, just us two small petite Asian women. It's so ridiculous. They think we are desperate to steal their bootleg products when it's not even worth it. If they are so worried about people stealing, install a camera for the back room , that's no way to treat people like they are...
