Wish I could give 0 stars. Went here after a long day of skiing and was excited to find a vegan offering on the menu-- the only restaurant in Snowshoe to have this. Ordered both vegan tacos, my husband ordered two meat ones. My two tacos came out with probably 1/4 of the filling as the meat ones...in the garbanzo bean-based one, I literally counted 9 total beans. We asked the server if they could be filled anymore, as this was to be my dinner, and it seemed unfair that it was 90% tortilla. She took it back and said the kitchen would remake it. A busser came back with the plate, basically dropped it and ran away... in which they quite literally just DUMPED THE SAME FILLING INTO A SMALLER TORTILLA. Now these are street tacos, already quite small, and the new tortillas were probably for a children's plate, maybe 3" in diameter at most-- as if they couldn't simply add another scoop of basic filling (which looked like it probably came from a can, anyway), and thought I would be fooled or satisfied because it looked like more in the smaller shell. I wish I took a picture of the first plate because it was truly pathetic. I guess this is what you get when there's a bunch of ignorant teenagers working the kitchen... We spoke to the supervisor who was nice enough but I don't think she quite understood the issue, and we ended up leaving without eating anything as I just lost my appetite at the utter disrespect. Not to mention, this was after over an HOUR of waiting to be seated.
Sad excuse for Latin food, rude staff, and subpar service. Go here if you want to pay $6+ for an empty tortilla!-- Otherwise, there's much better places at the resort that are far more accommodating. Never going back, and going to tell everyone to avoid...

We chose the Cantina because we figured "who can mess up Mexican food?" And the answer would be: the Cantina, and it does a fantastic job of it.
The waiter seemed new because every question our table asked about the menu he had to go ask someone. One question being: "I see you have pulled pork for the Cuban sandwich, could we get that in a taco?" The answer was "no" because the Cuban meat and cheese were already 'together' according to the waiter. Which should have been a red flag on the quality of the food... that the meat and cheese for the sandwich was prepped hours before and slapped on bread.... or the meat and cheeses were prepackaged together. Either way, not worthy of $12.
Another question we had... "can I get rice instead of fries as a side?" And sidenote: it's a Mexican restaurant why is rice not your main side? When the rice was served, it was jasmine rice, not your typical mexi-rice.
I had the beef tacos, which to me would mean the meat is going to be hamburger meat or even fajita steak slices. No, this mysterious meat was the consistency of pulled pork, but tasted more like beef?!?
The best thing I can say about the Cantina were the blood orange margaritas were strong. But unfortunately, not strong enough to make me forget about what I was eating.
Also, charging $4 for all you can eat chips and salsa...
