EDH Rentals — Hotel in Marlinton

We really enjoyed renting from EDH and we loved staying at ML 376! I can’t speak highly enough about Tim and Mari. And even Chad the Owner of the unit. To me, communication is key. It’s some of the best communication while traveling we have ever received and we have traveled a lot. It was top notch! We loved everything snowshoe had to offer! Everyone we encountered was so nice. The room was cozy and the location could not be more perfect for us having 3 days on the slopes. Some of my favorite amenities were of course the ballhooter lift directly out the side door. The first slopes to ski down right out the side door as well. We also enjoyed having a waffle cabin and the mountain grind croissant food truck right out the back door as well! The village is very close by! Literally right out the back hallway- just down the steps from Allegheny springs hotel. It’s a 2 min walk to all the restaurants and stores from mountain lodge. The room was very clean, updated and the decor was nice. The bed and pull out sofa was very comfortable!! It was a HUGE plus having the washer and dryer. We were able to wash our thermals after our 2nd ski day. The room was perfect for what we needed during our stay for a family of 4. We opened the window at times to cool off our room- not an issue at all. The halls were a little on the warmer side too but this was hard to tell because we were always dressed in ski gear so it was always hot until we got outside! We kept our ski gear in the room on the racks- super convenient. We did not rent a locker. It’s not necessary because it’s not that far of a walk at all. You will not be disappointed with this location! It was also a HUGE plus that the resort had its own parking lot. Our car was always close by! We rented our ski equipment from snowshoe mountain sports and received the 20% discount. That was also An easy and great experience. We would hands down 1000%...

Tim and Mari Wolfe are the ultimate hosts. We stayed in ML 164 for our first family ski trip with our 8 and 13 year old girls. Travelling from sunny Florida to the slopes of West Virginia was an amazing experience made so by EDH Rentals. Their information email before our trip contained specific and very helpful information regarding where and how to book mountain activities such as lift tickets, ski lessons, ski rentals and booking restaurant reservations well in advance (which was great advice!). ML 164 is a very clean, updated and inviting space designed with mountain farmhouse style charm spacious enough for my family of 4 and included everything we needed for a relaxing mountain vacation. The view from ML 164 looking into the basin is everything we expected. Walking from our room to the ski area was short and convenient trip through the lobby down a short hallway right out next to the Ballhooter lift.

With a great arcade, spacious lobby for gatherings, and a polite front office staff, Mountain Lodge is a fantastic place for a mountain getaway. The proximity to the most amazing mountain Village was a convenient 5 minute walk through peaceful spruce lined walkways. Thank you Tim, Mari and family for providing a beautiful environment for our first ski vacation. We can’t wait to visit next year as our girls mentioned quite often upon our departure that “we don’t want to leave”. Cheers to 2023.

We enjoyed our stay at ML #111, EDH communicated with us prior to arrival and before leaving. The condo was comfortable, entry provided adequate space for our boards and gear which allowed everything to dry overnight and throughout the day when off the slopes, loved the mats that would keep the floors and rugs from getting wet, even though we clean snow off all our boards before entering, water still drips, so a great touch! We appreciated the quick access to the slopes as the main door out connects right to Ballhooter lift, but we had quick access to the village as well, which is nice for going out for pizza, getting ice cream and just walking around to the different shops. The Waffle Cabin is awesome and very delicious. Even though our rental was facing the parking lot, we still had the natural light shining in, could gauge the day by stepping out onto the deck, and a nice place to relax when resting from a long day of snowboarding. The Blackout curtains were nice, allowing us to sleep in as needed. We will definitely return and use EDH for future rentals. They are prompt with replies, very understanding,...
