I bought a pair of work jeans from here, got home and they were longer than the inscribed length. Came back the next time I could get some time off work and they conveniently had a sign on the door stating they would be closed on December 11th at 5pm for a staff Christmas party instead of the normal 6pm. It was 5:15 when I arrived and the doors were locked, that's when I noticed their little sign on the door about closing early that day. Now I won't be able to come back within a week to abide by their exchange policy of 7 days after the purchase. So I'm stuck with the jeans. I decided to call them while waiting outside the door and explain my situation. All the employees were inside walking around doing work stuff so I figured they might be able to assist me as I can't get down to the store very often and it was a thirty minute drive. The girl said they couldn't unlock the door and were sorry. Wow, pathetic way to treat your customers. I would have been in and out in 5 minutes. I am not picky about the jeans I wanted as they were for work anyways. They just lost a couple customers including my immediate family. The Manager was walking around the store and there was no party going on. All it would have taken iso five minutes of their time. I hope they read this and realize they inconvenienced a number of people who read the hours of operation online and came out to the store tonight only to find out the decided to close extra early two weeks before Christmas for a party. As if 6pm is not early enough to have a party. I will never shop at this place again as abother customer who came to ther door as I was waiting told me of a better place to buy similar clothes. Read moreI intentionally went to the store during lunchtime on Friday, 1-7-22 as I needed to do something else by 5 pm. I purchased a 2 items that were 70% off on clearance.
Once I got home, I realized that I was charged full price for both items. Was completely disappointed as this was my whole purpose to shop during my lunch. I called the store at 1:41 pm, letting them know what happened. No apology given. I was told they'd let the manager know & they closed at 6.
There was no way I was going to make it to the other business I wanted to visit before 5. I returned to the store. On the wall, it said that Valerie was the manager on duty. Ironically, she also was the person who rang me up at lunch & didn't apply the clearance. Not sure what she had on her mind. I was the only person in line when I paid.
Alyssa assisted me with refunding my overpayment. Valerie tried to tell Alyssa how to process the refund & Alyssa explained why she was doing it the way she was. I'm standing there laughing inside because had Valerie been half as attentive when she assisted me, there'd be no reason for my return.
Neither Valerie nor Alyssa apologized. Both were quite nonchalant, & this is the epitome of what's wrong with customer service these days. This location is very close to my home, but I'll be going out of my way to visit other locations the next time PC gets any money from me. Attitude is reflective of leadership. I hope the store owner's leadership isn't reflective of Valerie. Alyssa was definitely mirroring Valerie's attitude, & neither was a good look. Read moreThe quality of the store is poor. The management and employees either need to be retrained, or more preferably, replaced. I've taken clothes to them 3 times. The first time I gave them a bag, they only took a dress that had the tags on it (Tag was for $15), and a pair of earrings. They gave me a single dollar and some change. The second two times they took nothing. I've given them Hollister, Abercrombie, and even a pair of Gucci shoes and they took nothing saying how those items, "didn't sell well." The sad thing is, while I was waiting for them to look through my bag, I looked around the store. I found a couple brand-name-less items with broken button, stains, and pieces falling off due to poor stitching. Of course none of their items are selling well, the things they have boughten in the past are terrible and over priced; There is absolutely NO consistency at all. I can't explain how many times I've seen items priced higher than the online prices. Online is at least brand new. The sad thing is the employees are rude as well. I looked up to see if my name was on the board but I looked up as she was going through my bag, just like that they put everything back in. This store is VERY small, if you do not want people watching you go through items, please feel free to do it in the back then, we do not have anywhere to go since we cannot leave the store. If you do not want your job, feel free to quit. There are many friendly, hard-working people in this world in need of a job and ungrateful people should not be given those opportunities if they cannot take care of them. Officially done...
