Writing to help others not waste their money or get tricked. I really wish they would get better trainers. Itās the worst workout Iāve ever been to. I even left early today to get in more of a workout on my own. Trainers donāt help you at all. This is you running on a treadmill, then rowing, then the only part thatās worth anything( the floor workout), but these trainers donāt help or hardly show you what to do. Only once! After that you keep your hand held for so long, itās over by the time you know the correct way to do. If my armband did not cost so much, $130!!! I would end my membership today. I feel very taken advantage of and mislead. As I specifically mentioned that I hate treadmills( id rather run on my own), and how bored I get doing reputation workouts. I was told 100% it was different every class and would never be the same. Such a lie. :( sad because Iām out of work currently and really wish they would have been honest, as this is the only thing I can afford right now. The gym would have been so much cheaper and I could do better training than any of the trainers Iāve had so far. They could also use people upfront who look like they actually have worked out once in their lives. Does not get you too excited when the girl upfront is 1/2 asleep covered in tattoos with no kind of workout body. The others that work there are overweight. Not very encouraging. Should have noticed that and would have never signed up. For whoever owns this. Hire some good looking men & women who can showcase what you could look like. Not people who look like they should work...

I am a founding member of this studio and have had nothing but exceptional service here. The coaches go through rigorous training and ALL have to be nationally certified trainers along with OTF "school". The staff (front desk) do more than just exist. They help you with all your questions/needs about membership, retail sales of OTF gear, etc, and NEVER mislead you on what OTF srands for. I challenge anyone who is at the "local chain gyms", to come to McDonough OTF for a free class and then complain that you didn't get a good workout. The science behind OrangeTheory is proven, effective and researched by a board of medically trained professionals, therefore, if you think OTF is misleading, you have obviously not done your homework.
When I started here, now almost 2 years ago, I was weak and not very fit. I am still working on both, but slow and steady wins the race. I have to thank Mike, Jamie, Lauren, Kiana, Megan, Shail, Kai, and my good friend Jodi, who coaches in another location, for the encouragement, support and direction they provide each time they coach a class. There is nothing out there even close to what OTF offers, I LOVE my OTF family, and if you listen to the instruction, give all of yourself in each workout, you WILL have MORE LIFE AND MORE ENERGY! Thank you Emily for all you have done for me by bringing OTF into my life!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you are already discouraged, a working mom, and a second time new mom again this is not the place. I was already trying to get motivated to get back in shape, so any discouragement was the last thing I needed. I made it to the first 3 classes. I was still not really motivated but I was coming back anyway to get my body back in shape. On the 4th visit I was turned away at the door bc I was 5 mins late!!! For a working mother of two and wife this was very discouraging!!! Not to mention I pay 109 a month just to come there to workout!!!! I cancelled my plan with them right away and never went back there. They are insensitive and donāt really care about YOU, they care about THEIR PROGRAM!!! They donāt get to know their clients, they just want to fill their classes up. Their pitch is that their program is comparable to having your own personal trainer just a cheaper rate per month but a personal trainer would turn their client around at the door that was already discouraged in the first place!!! Save your money!!!...
