To whom it may concern,
First Iād like to say that I love this restaurant and always receive top service when I frequently visit. I am writing in regards to my experience on 8/21/21.
I called the McDonough location to inquiring about a catering option for a small group at 2:02pm. The phone was not answered professionally and I had to inquire if I called the right company and location. I spoke to a young lady regarding the catering order for a Graduate Chapter meeting of 4-6, on 8/28/21, immediately I was brushed off and was told to visit the chicken salad chick website to place a catering order. The associate had no interest in asking any information about my event or if she could help in anyway. I began to tell her about my event and what I would like to have from the catering menu, and asked if it could be done for a smaller group because small group options were not available online.
The associate sounded flustered and I felt rushed to end the phone call as she was taking orders while we were on the phone. I had more questions and I did not feel like she did all that she could to assist me. So I inquired about a similar order I had catered at the Kennesaw location for my wedding to feed my bridesmaids prior to the wedding. I had a 1/2 platter of croissant sandwiches, two sides and cookies and tea. The associate notified me that āwe donāt do that and I donāt know how they would ring that up so all you can do is what we have onlineā. I explained my needs again and asked for options. The only option that was suggested was āto buy a few tubs of chicken salad or order the larger scale optionsā. I chose to end the call because there was no intention to assist me.
I LOVE Chicken Salad Chick because of the great varieties in flavors, health conscious options and superior service. I really wanted CHC to cater my meeting because I know the quality of the food and friendly service. It is my go to for every event large or small. It was unfortunate that I did not receive help from the McDonough location as it was closer to where my meeting is located.
I called the Kennesaw location at 2:10pm on 8/21/21 and inquired about catering for a small group and without haste, the manager made great suggestions, I selected the menu items I wanted to serve, paid in full and have my pickup date scheduled for 8/27/21. The Kennesaw location gets it right every time. The restaurant is clean, staff are nice and the manager is always helpful. I appreciate their service and willingness to assist me.
The Founders of Chicken Salad Chick envisioned a restaurant where they can spread joy, enrich lives and serve others, unfortunately today that vision was not displayed in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Chicken Salad Chick in McDonough, GA has been one of my absolute favorite spots lately for lunch and snacks. I actually eat this stuff for breakfast too and it could easily be a dinner spot because they do have soups and salads as well as their chicken salad. This place is so cool because there are so many different flavors of chicken salad to choose from. I hate to deviate from my norm so for now I have only tried the Fancy Nancy, Kickinā Kay Lynne, and the Dixie Chick which my mom really loves because she is an onion lover. Personally my favorites are the Fancy Nancy for when I am in a fruity mood and the Kickinā Kay Lynne for when I am in a spicy mood. The Fancy Nancy has pecans, grapes, Fuji apples, tons of white meat chicken and Iām guessing mayo. It is the perfect mix of sweet and savory. The Kickinā Kay Lynne has Siraccha, jalapeƱos, cheese, bacon, tons of white meat chicken obvi, and mayo and it is the perfect amount of spice for me. The heat is not too much to overwhelm the overall flavor of the dish but just enough to give you a little kick with each bite. I am also really interested in trying the buffalo wing option as well in the future when I will obviously visit this location as well. I love the concept/idea of this place and I am so thankful to have this restaurant in my home town. The staff is super friendly every time I visit and my food always comes out quickly. They also have a drive through if you prefer to eat in the smaller space of your car like me. I have eaten in this restaurantās dining room as well and it is about the average size youād expect to see at any other fast food type chicken spot. The dining room is also very clean. My only critique would be to ask the company to consider cutting the grapes in half for the Fancy Nancy salad as I do feel the bite is a little bit with the whole grapes mixed in the salad. Itās not a biggie though and Iāll still continue to order this salad as well as try some of the other options as I am ready to. This place definitely has something for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy mother went to this location and had a horrible experience. She has only been one other time so is not 100% familiar with how it works. She named the type of chicken salad she wanted and instead of the male āsupervisorā asking her how did she want it he just chose for her. When her food came out and it was only a scoop of chicken salad she called an employee over who went in the back and brought her two slices of bread. At this point she was irritated and asked for the manager who came over and said a lot of people just get the bread on the side because they are in a hurry. Terrible reasoning. At the end of the conversation with the manager she was told them their lunch would be on her. Instead of comping the lunch she came back with the supervisor who was extremely rude. And made the comment ādid I ask you did you want breadā. NO you didnāt and that is the issue. If a customer just names a type of chicken salad COMMON sense would tell you to ask the customer how they would like it. Needless to say when she left she didn't get a refund or a positive experience. She didnāt want the refund all she wanted was the sandwich she had like the first time she went. Fast food places even ask do you want a meal or just a sandwich. Train your people including...
