It is insane how they discriminate against anyone that walks in with a stroller. I have shopped and spent $100’s, if not $1000+ in this store. Never again. Sure I understand loss prevention, but they are downright chasing away paying customers. I’ve experienced this multiple times and witnessed them do this to anyone and everyone with a stroller or wagon. I’m done.
I walked in with a stroller, never greeted, looked up and down and given a look of disgust. Woman immediately behind me without one, kindly greeted with a smile by the same woman that gave me an awful look and told about some sale.
The way they stalk and follow you in the store is seriously crazy and blatant harassment. Never once asked if I needed help with anything. The second I sat a massive pop toy on top of my stroller so I could have a hand to look at something else (literally sat across the top bar of the stroller so to push it again I’d have to pick it back up). I was immediately offered assistance. Yet when I was ready to check out, it took forever to get someone to the register for me to pay. Funny. Maybe you should invest in baskets for your customers.
We are small business owners ourselves and frequent downtown McKinney and this was one of our favorite stores to shop as they have cute toys + some of my favorite boy boxer briefs. I love supporting small businesses, shopping local, etc. but the way this place makes paying customers feel like criminals, no thanks. I’ll happily take my...

If I could give zero stars, I would. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were being watched like criminals. The sales girl was constantly hovering, making us feel uncomfortable, as if they expected us to steal something.
After purchasing a small $2 souvenir, the cashier asked if we wanted a receipt, and we said no—we didn’t need it. But as we were leaving, the salesgirl humiliated us, treating us like thieves. She shouted that we couldn’t leave without a receipt, even though we had already paid. We explained that the cashier still had the receipt, but she forced us to walk back to the cashier just for that pointless piece of paper.
If the receipt was so important, why did the cashier let us leave without it in the first place? It was unnecessary, insulting, and felt more like a racial profiling issue than anything else.
I had plans to buy clothes and toys for my five grandsons, but after this humiliating experience, they just lost thousands of dollars in sales. All this over a $2 trinket!
Message to the owner: Train your staff to treat customers with respect. Your pushy and accusatory salesgirl cost you a loyal customer. If you want to be treated like a criminal, by all means, go to this store. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs....

My wife’s experience:
My 5 year old daughter received two pairs of shoes as Christmas gifts, but the sizes were a little small so she went to return them. The “sales” lady was extremely rude and almost would not return them and after my wife had to go through a ton of hoops we ended up paying an extra $10 for a pair of boots and getting two containers of slime because they didn’t have the other shoes in stock and the don’t offer “gift receipts or gift cards”s. Then the lady followed my family around the store as if we were criminals and were going to rob the place.
I can’t believe that a local store fighting larger competitors would treat customers this way. We will not be back, and that breaks my little dancers heart because she loved the store and it’s dance apparel...
