The N.Y. Strip served with a side of mushrooms was excellent. The Pork Chop was served with peach reduction and a side of asparagus and was delicious. All in all an excellent meal. Until it came to dessert. We ordered the Butterscotch Pudding. A glass jar with something in it and a small cup of cookie crumbles. Not quite what we were expecting after such a good meal. But, maybe it wasn't supposed to be served that way. One thing, we've eaten food in several different continents and traveled. So quality food is something we have experienced. The Sugar Bacon restaurant was one We'd recommend and we think you'll like it. Just ask about the dessert before you order.

We were there about 5 pm on a Friday. Good atmosphere. Nice bar area. A few TV screens for sports, pool table, games, so the young ones might find something to occupy their time. Not too crowded and since you seat yourself we were able to quickly find a table. Our waitress promptly greeted us and took our drink orders. We ordered the Brisket Tacos ($14), three to an order, and the Brisket Quesadilla ($12), I think four to the order? Both were really good and I would order again. The portions are not large but should be good for the average person. Larger appetites might want to add an appetizer. You can find their full menu online.

Visited on a weekday, Thursday, April 3rd, and arrived around 10:40 PM since the place closes at 2 AM. When I asked at the bar, they told us we could sit wherever we wanted and that someone would come to take our order. After seating ourselves, we waited for almost 25 minutes, but no one came to take our order. I went to the bar counter to mention it, but nothing changed. I ended up ordering two drinks directly at the bar and left after that. The vibe just didn’t feel right, and the service definitely needs improvement. Disappointing experience overall.

Yesterday me and my friends went to go have some drinks after a girls nice day outing. Came to this place thinking it would be a nice friendly bar. We sat down and drink 1 drink. After the first drink I asked for another beer. I first asked one of the bartenders for it he never came back around I know that he was busy so I waited. Another bartender came up and asked me if I wanted to place another drink I said yes, that bartender also didn't come back with my drink. Third bartender asked if I wanted a drink I told him I had placed my drink twice already and haven't received it. The third bartender I think was the manager got offensive and instead of saying sorry I'll get you, your drink! His reaction was totally offline very disrespectful, rude and offensive. We exchanged words and then he walked away and laughed with the other bartender. Me and my friends were so confused to why he reacted that way to all of us women. It really shows the person who is running this place that they don't care about customer service. He never apologized and instead still kept avoiding me and my friends. They did not want to close our bill and did not want to acknowledge what they said that was so rude!! Instead at least one of the bartenders later on cane and apologized thank you Tyler! For that because of him me and my friends closed out or bill and drink our last drink there. Never again will I go back there again. But after working at the square for almost 2 years I have never felt so disrespected. I hope that manager 🙏 gets better at treating women or customers with more respect. Not to mention that I was not drunk! I was there to have a few drinks and he ruined my night and...

I can't exactly speak to the food or drinks here but rather an experience. I came with my friends and we went straight from the bathroom to a booth, and I was considering ordering some food. My friend went up to the bar and was denied service (she was only trying to order a Mac and cheese). The reason for the denial was that the server was under the impression that someone in our group called her a derogatory term. None of us in the group (all young women ourselves) ever said anything along those terms and the server admitted that she heard this from someone else. We never interacted with anyone except this server when she asked for our IDs - which we all readily showed. We were incredibly confused - none of us were even trying to order alcohol and would never ever say something like that- many of us have had serving experience and know what it's like. We are really hurt and confused as to why we would be accused of this behavior when the server was not 100% sure of who even said the term in the first place. And denied service on top of that. We never said anything, and are just utterly confused as we never even interacted with other employees. My friend tipped regardless to the server that ultimately let her order a Mac and cheese, and I'm really sorry that someone said that term to the one server, but it genuinely wasn't us and it's ridiculous that we were accused without them being sure who even said that. I wish I could speak to the food or drink, but I have to say that this experience has not made me eager to return to this...

This was our first time at McKinney pub To enjoy a few drinks for St. Patrick’s Day. My husband gave his drink order however, I told the waitress let me look over the menu and I’ll let her know what I want after 15 minutes she finally bought water. After 20 minutes, she had someone else bring two beers to the table which we only ordered one beer and I told her to come back for me to let her know which drink I wanted. Then we proceeded to wait another 25 minutes for her to even acknowledge that one of the glass was empty, which my husband drank, since I still did not want a beer and another drink. We were told we were not gonna get charged for the extra beer since that is not what I ordered however, after waiting for so long that she never even came back to ask us what we wanted to eat my husband I just asked for the check and took off And went to The Yard Restaurant, which had much better service, food, and great service. We will never return to McKinney pub again. We should’ve just went to Celts or The Yard...
