I wanted to wait a bit before reviewing after I’d worn the perfume a couple of times. The class was pretty interesting and enjoyable. I signed up online and when I got there another group was finishing up. The back room is pretty small so I had the privilege of listening to some obnoxious guy curse and complain about his home remodel, which wasn’t very relaxing. There was only one person working so I was left alone a lot while she tried to help everyone. She was very sweet and knowledgeable. Once the group left another trio of ladies came in and we actually hit it off and had a good time. I love the fragrance I created and was super excited to wear it. The problem is it has no staying power. I bought the body butter and the perfume and even layering it does not help it last. I wonder if the owner purchases cheap oils or whatever it is they use?? I want to love this but for over $100 for the 2 items I bought I expect more. I wonder if I just got a bad batch or if this is their norm. I have much cheaper scents that last all day. ...

The process in the workshop is to choose a base note, middle note, top note, and a flavor note. You choose a few you like from each category (they're color-coded), then try out different combinations of them on strips of paper to see how they work as one fragrance and how the scent changes as it dries. You take notes to determine your favorite, and then it's mixed for you. There are A LOT of options.

Depending on the product you choose to imbue with fragrance, the cost will change, so my advice is to look at the website before going and figure out what your plan is.

I asked if I could mix the fragrance and was allowed to do it myself. I'm not very good with fragrances, but the result was surprisingly great! I wear it all the time and have received compliments on it.

I've done two Custom Perfume Making classes with Bharvi at Expressive Aromas and I'M ADDICTED!!!! I had so much fun both times and I absolutely love my scents.
