Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Menifee

I have ordered a cake for Halloween every year from Nothing Bundt Cake located in Temecula for four years. I accidentally ordered from the Menifee Office at approximately 5:09 pm. I arrived at the Temecula nothing Bundt cake location at 6:00 pm to find I had placed my order at the wrong place. I informed the ladies in the store about the mistake and they informed me it happens all the time . They told me to call the store and the Menifee office would just cancel the order. To my surprise the Menifee Office stated that was not an option. I was offered store credit. I live in Temecula and I never go to Menifee. The ladies in the Temecula Store were very nice and were surprised that the other store did not cancel my order. They said it happens all the time with them. Due to their lovely customer service and consideration, I purchased another cake and a cupcake from their store. I am willing to take a $37.00 loss to express my sadness (and yes anger), that a store is willing to make money over doing the right thing. And before someone says I could have got store credit - I don’t go to Menifee. I would have preferred to be charged a 10.00 handling fee for making the cake. I’m sure it would have been sold today or tomorrow. I would have gladly paid a fee even though the ladies who worked in the Temecula shop stated they are always cancelling orders such as mine. I made a mistake but I was purchasing from the SAME company so you would have thought it would be acceptable. I’m writing this review to say how sad it is that lack of customer service is worth $37.00. Go to the Temecula store where the staff is pleasant and care...

Tonight I went in to get a bundt cake for a friend who’s birthday is tomorrow, there were 2 customers in the store paying at the register when I had walked in. The young lady at the register seems super annoyed I was in the store, she seemed like rushy and wanted me to get out fast. I had seen an arrangement with plastic wrap and a little flower on it, I told the lady at the register that is so cute it’s my friends birthday tomorrow can I get one of those for her? She continues sounding annoyed and says um well it’s too late right now I can’t make it you’d have to come back tomorrow morning for it. I said no thanks I’ll just grab a cake from here. As I’m choosing a flavor she’s just waiting with this annoyed look like hurry up. I picked the cake and she charged me. I said oh sorry I didn’t realize you closed by 7 she says it’s fine and as I’m walking out she walks directly behind me to grab something from outside and go back in to close up. I’m sorry but I’ve worked restaurants before and even when we were closed I never treated a customer with such a rush. Lately customer service is such trash. I felt so unwanted in the store so I chose a flavor I didn’t really care for, over never felt so pressured to choose something and get rushed out Wow after posting my review I read some of the rest and I’m not alone when I say the customer service needs ALOT of attention. I love these Bundt Cakes!! I first tried them in Henderson, Nv. They are the Best Cakes Ever!! And I had excellent service at both stores!! I just read some of the reviews, and all I can say is give them a try, and I hope you will be as happy as I am, not only with their Bundt Cakes, but their very helpful, pleasant & friendly service, too!!! Everyone has an off day, now and then. So, I suggest that you go in and enjoy, and then decide for yourself. Don't miss out on something this yummy, (and these cakes are the yummiest!) just because someone else had a bad day... And if someone is having a bad day, anywhere, not just here, see if you can change that around for them, by just being nice to them!! Kindness goes a long ways!! So does a smile!!
