Don’t shop at the mentor Dillards and stay far away from Kelly in the kids department. Me and my aunt went shopping for her grandkids because they don’t have a Dillards by them in California. First Dillard is completely empty to begin with and now I know why…their staff is disgusting. We walk into the kids section Kelly asks us if we need help to ask. We shopped checked out spending over $400. She didn’t do anything for us special except checking us out which is her job. We started talking about a fashion show they were Goni g to have and I casually asked if she knew when tax free weekend was and she said starts that weekend. My aunt says to me dang I should have waited because it would have saved me over $30 in tax which could buy a whole other outfit for one of her 6 grandkids. So she said maybe I return it and buy during tax free which I think most people would do to save $30. As we were talking amongst ourselves Kelly interjects oh I hope not I work on commission. My aunt said she would come back when Keely works on purpose to purchase with her so she gets the credit again. Kelly was just snarky and because of her actions we decided to return the stuff right then and there with her and she said really it would put me in the negatives today because your my only sale today….it was 4 in the afternoon and that was her first sale all day now i know why. When we were returning it she keep throwing snarky comments under her breath like “I should have never even said anything”. Like no I’ve worked retail and was an assistant store manager of a store and the one thing that kept bringing my customers back was honesty. I always tried to help my customers in their best interest and they came back to me because they saw I was trying to help them. If you don’t like that your job works on commission go find another job I can’t believe how entitled people are to complain about doing your job that you’re getting paid to do, I’m sos sorry it’s hard to check someone out at the register. Even if she would have called the manager and asked for a discount we would have not returned the items but because of your actions that is why you won’t have a job in a year. Dillards do better learn to hire people who will get you somewhere not make your...

Read moreI came to the mall today in search of an outfit for a wedding Im attending in a couple days. I have body dysmorphic disorder so shopping for myself always ends up in me crying and not being able to find anything so I give up. I went to JC Penny's and couldn't find anything at all that I liked. So I went to Dillard's, starting looking around, found a pair of pants, felt my eyes starting to water when none of the tops were right, then ran into Megan. I explained that I have body dysmorphic disorder, have a wedding to attend and don't want to wear a dress or show my arms. She walked around the department with me, getting an idea of what I was comfortable with, pointed out items to get a feel for what I had in mind, then selected 2 perfect tops and a cardigan that I never would've picked for myself but I left the store loving. The amount of patience she showed me was so appreciated. And in an extremely overwhelming situation, she made me feel comfortable in my own skin and calmed my nerves. She didnt stop searching the store until I came out of that dressing room smiling. So to Megan, thank you again. You are appreciated, keep doing what...
