Fuzziwig's Candy Factory — Local services in Mesa

Out of date products and staff that treats you like dirt. We have been here twice in the entirety of this stores existence and both times were not a good experience.

The first time we bought some small candy items that were a bit high priced for what they were, but it's a mall store so it can happen, however the person at the counter seemed to basically hate us on the spot for being... Paying customers???

The second time was when we had family in town and thought we'd stop in and buy some bagged candy for the kids... We then realized that they are selling out of date and expired products! When we brought it to the staff's attention they became hostile and told us that the candy was "fine" and that all of their products were "the best on the market". They clearly purchase from places such as Costco and then price everything drastically higher and just thinking about the bulk candy makes us cringe as it is most likely all massively out of date!

This place is a disgrace and should be shuttered and gone for how...

Kind of disappointed. I got my husband some candies for his Christmas stocking from fuzziwig’s. We decided to dig in a little early and eat some, and when I opened one of the chocolate bars to take a bite, I saw white fuzz all over it. I looked at the expiration date and it expired 7 months ago in May. I guess it was my fault for not looking at the expiration on it, but I also thought they’d rotate stock every so and so, especially when getting new shipments, as per food safety...

I got a slushie, some gummies and jelly beans. Asked for the receipt which she was hesitant to give me. When I looked on it, I saw why. She had charged us for a larger sized slushie and for chocolate instead of jelly beans and gummies (chocolate being more expensive per pound). Prices were posted all over the store and she tried to tell me they had recently changed and mumbled something about tax. She barely spoke English so arguing seemed futile. Will not...
