I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at El Nogal with my bestie and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Specializing in Colombian cuisine, this restaurant truly delivers an authentic and flavorful dining experience.

The food was absolutely amazing and incredibly tasty. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was impeccable. It's evident that a lot of care and passion goes into the preparation of each meal. The service was equally impressive. Paz and Belen, were wonderful! They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to our lunch experience, making us feel truly welcome. The drinks were very, very good as well. The selection was diverse, offering something for everyone. Each drink was expertly crafted and perfectly complemented the delicious food.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one is well deserved. I recently visited El Nogal, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences of my life — all thanks to two incredible servers: Sofia and Andrea.

From the moment we were seated, both Sofia and Andrea went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for. They weren’t just friendly — they were genuinely warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. Their timing was perfect, their recommendations were spot-on, and they had a great sense of humor that made the whole evening even more enjoyable.

You can tell they love what they do, and it reflects in the service they provide. They made the whole experience feel special — not just like another night out, but something to remember.

Sofia and Andrea are, without a doubt, the best servers I’ve ever had. If you get a chance to be in their section, consider yourself lucky — they truly elevate the entire restaurant.

The atmosphere was cute, love the tile floor. Initially the server was sweet. Didn’t speak English very well but not a problem. Was greatly disappointed in the octopus appetizer. Lacked flavor and was just small diced small chunks of octopus with 1/2 boiled potatoes. At least it wasn’t over cooked octopus, that was a win. I was EXTRA disappointed when I received a credit card reader and no itemized receipt. When I asked the server if the tip was included or if it was just that high in taxes she said it was taxes. The gratuity screen showed 3/5/7%. What should have been $54 was $67 plus additional gratuity I left bc I was misled to. She wasn’t honest about tip being included or maybe it was a language barrier either way would be best if the restaurant required servers to present an itemized receipt. When we went to the restaurant a few doors down we saw that gratuity is in fact included when presented with an itemized receipt. Don’t mind paying gratuity but do mind shady practices.
