I come to this store all the time when I am in Miami. This last visit, I went to this location 2 times. First time, was pleasant. Found some towels and knick knacks. Their machine was down, and I had limited cash, so the cashier was very sweet and gave me my purchases at a discount. I brought my girlfriend later that night, so I could buy the other items I wanted. We left after 3 minutes because we were so uncomfortable. Staff were very obviously and aggressively watching us. Standing feet away, every time we turned around they were just staring at us in our path. I've been to Miami several times and have never experienced such overt and unnecessary surveillance. Look, I get it. It's a huge souvenir shop and people shoplift. But the level of surveillance was unnecessary. So much that I will never shop at one of these...

Surf Style is a solid stop if you’re hanging around Miami Beach and need some quick beach gear or souvenirs. They’ve got a huge selection—everything from T-shirts and swim trunks to towels, hats, flip-flops, and touristy knick-knacks. The layout is easy to navigate, and the bright, beachy vibe makes it fun to walk through.

The store is clean and the staff are usually helpful, which makes the experience even better. It’s definitely convenient if you forgot something for the beach or just want to grab a few gifts.
