Sandwich Miami Brickell — Restaurant in Miami

I just want to start off by saying that I really love this place, and I used to visit all the locations around Miami, but this location right here definitely needs to revamp its staff. I have never felt so disrespected and humiliated in my life. I am someone who is a part of the LGBT community, and I am very proud of it. I live in the building next to this location, basically upstairs, and I have come down here several times to eat and get a smoothie. I have never met anyone so homophobic in my life. The majority of the men who work there are homophobic, no doubt. As soon as I walk in, they start whispering things to each other in a disrespectful manner, clearly talking about me because they are looking at me and laughing. This is shocking to me because most of the people who live in Brickell are gay. There is a huge LGBTQ community in that area, and most of the people who live and work there know and respect it. To whoever owns this business/location, I would advise you to hire new employees who are a bit more accepting of different backgrounds and cultures and not judge people based on their sexual preference. This is not the 1900s; those days of hating on gay people are over. I would never come to this location again in my life, and I will make sure to let everyone in my building and everyone I know in Brickell not to even bother or waste their money here because they will probably be judged based on their sexual preference. I have many friends who are straight, and they greet other gay people regularly because they know who they are and are comfortable in their skin. Their homophobia says a lot about who they are; essentially, they probably don’t even know who they are. So when they see someone so confident walk in with a Chanel purse, looking good, with money—gay and successful—they feel the need to hate. I have always been around money, but I have never treated people so disgustingly. I pray for you and this business, and hopefully, you all find out exactly who you really are, so you can stop judging others. Enjoy...

The employees in this place are just disgusting. This is the 2nd time I've witness these unsanitary conditions. The first time, I watch as the guy prepared my husbands sandwich and in the process, the guy took his gloved hand and ran it through his hair, then proceeded to preparing the sandwich. I asked to speak to a manager and reported the issue. My meal was prepared again by the manager. Yesterday 3/16/23, I walked in to an employee playing with a big fluffy dog. The dog was jumping all over her and she petted him all over. She went right behind the counter and started assisting customers without washing her hands. She didn't touch my food, but handed me my bag. I asked the guy who was the manager? Low and behold.....it was the older lady rubbing the dog and not washing her hands. She said she didn't touch my food. She didn't but she never washed her hands and grabbing people condiments. She didn't offer an apology and NEVER washed her hands. The only thing she said was, "I didn't touch your food." She was rude and nonchalant about the situation. I don't want dog or human hair in my food. You can't be touching dogs and then prepare someone's food. That's very nasty. I won't be going back to this restaurant...EVER. If you want a clean environment with clean employees that prepare your food....DON'T GO HERE. Will not recommend nor spend another dime in this place. If I didn't walk in and see her playing with the dog....I'd never have known. What else are they doing that people...

I hadn't eaten here in a few years and after my birthday party was over we all ended up walking over to this phenomenal sandwich stand across the street from Club Deuce. I think I had the best post drinking sandwich I've ever had in my life this past Saturday night! They have a well earned and deserved five star rating from me. It's healthier and just as good as greasy food like pizza after a night out drinking.

Sometimes the place gets packed with not many places to sit outside but the wait isn't long and it's well worth it. The bread, veggies, and cold cuts always taste the freshest I've ever had. They always have used the freshest ingredients and the service is on point because they've never messed up one single order over the years I've gone. They have plenty of items on the menu such as shakes, vegetable juice, smoothies, salads, desserts, tea, coffee etc. No matter your diet and lifestyle there's something here for you.

These sandwiches are far superior to anything else out there hands down! Great for any time of day and even a quick bite. Nowhere to park outside but I like how they keep it as a sandwich stand like it's meant to be. Delivery has always been fast and on point as well. I'm done raving about it.....just try it for yourself and you'll see.

I recommend getting the turkey, roast beef, veggies, and all that goodness...
