I wish I could give this 0 stars. Called to place an order since there website was down. The woman who answered the phone was on her cell phone at home and told me that she could not take an order over the phone to use Uber or DoorDash or just go and eat at the resturant. She then somehow got the site to work, I guess she was the owner even though she continued to tell me she wasn’t there and couldn’t take my order and was so unhelpful and rude. I finally get my order to go through on their site. When I arrive to pick up my order the lady at the resturant doesn’t have it because their site is down. So my card was charged but their site is down and don’t have my order? Great. So I call the lady back and she advises me that she’s going to call and figure it out and I asked for a return call, she was continuously telling me she’s not there and I am stuck in the middle of the person over the phone and the restaurant. She then calls back saying they do have my order when I am in fact standing in the resturant where they do not. After arguing and requesting a refund she agreed and hung up. Knowing she would not process the refund as her number for her business is someone’s cellphone that is clearly not at the restaurant and they cannot get their site to work I call my bank. My bank informs me that they would see any refunds instantly and she has not made any. I do not recommend calling this business, ordering online or even going there this was a huge waste of time to pick up some...

The best tacos I have had in South Florida hands down. I live up in fort Lauderdale and I have tried some Oakland Park and pompano Beach dogs but this has the juicest, tastiest flavors combined especially for their rib eye tacos. That is the must get! Right after a catching a Savannah Bananas baseball game in the nearby LoanDepot Park. I took a look at my saved bookmarks for the local must eat places nearby and quickly found a parking spot on Calle 8, walked over to this little store, I thought it was going to be bigger but we arrived about 15-30 minutes before closing as they were kind of cleaning up and ready to head out but we quickly made the order for quesadilla with chicken on the side, a taco de birria, the rib eyes tacos with blue tortillas, and when it all came out. I can not believe how juicy the rib eyes came out and the seasoning on the chicken was also chefs kiss! If I am down in the area, I'll definitely stop by again to try out their flautas and grabbing another rib eye tacos because wow. That...

Tortilla House is truly a gem in Miami. In the 16 years I’ve lived in the United States, I’ve never found a restaurant that captures the authentic taste of home the way this place does. From the very first bite, I felt like I was back in Guadalajara, Jalisco, sitting down to a homemade Sunday morning meal with my family.

It’s rare to find a restaurant that stays true to the roots of traditional dishes, but Tortilla House does it perfectly. Every flavor, every detail, felt authentic and genuine. It wasn’t just food—it was a reminder of home.

The service made the experience even better. The lady who opened the restaurant that day was nothing short of amazing—fast, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable about the dishes she served. Her warmth and energy added so much to the meal.

I can’t wait to return. Tortilla House has earned a permanent spot on my list, and I’m grateful for a place that brought me back to the flavors I’ve been missing...

My wife and I are always on the lookout for great Mexican food, and this place exceeded our expectations! We tried all the tacos, and my favorites were the Birria and Barbacoa. The tortillas are made fresh in their kitchen and are as authentic as it gets—absolutely amazing. The variety of salsas was fantastic, each one packed with incredible flavor. They even sell the tortillas by the pound and the salsas, too! My wife ordered the quesabirria, which was absolutely delicious—it ended up being our favorite dish of everything we tried. We still had room for more, so we ordered the flautas (three per order: cheese, potato, and chicken), and they were all equally tasty. We can’t wait to return and try the chilaquiles, and we’re definitely planning to stock up on some of their frozen packaged birria to keep on hand. Highly recommended!
