My boyfriend has been getting his haircuts here for a while, and when he asked if there was someone available who could do women’s haircuts, he was told that Beatriz could cut my hair for $30. Since my haircut request is the easiest possible — just trimming my long hair into a straight line, I thought it would be simple. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst haircut experience I have ever had.

Beatriz does not speak any English, so communication was almost impossible. She asked me to look down, which I assumed was just the beginning of the haircut. I stayed looking down for about 3 minutes, waiting for her to continue, only to be told that we were already finished. What she had done was just cut across my hair while my head was down and considered that “the haircut.” There was no proper technique, no checking, no balancing, no adjustments, nothing!! The result is uneven and now I have to get it cut again somewhere else to fix it. That means I lost twice the length of my hair that I had been growing.

When my boyfriend spoke with the barber about this, instead of acknowledging the poor job, the response was: “What did you expect for $30, a full service?” That kind of comment is completely unacceptable. First of all, a straight-line trim is the most basic haircut and does not cost more than $30 anywhere. Second, it’s not about “full service” — it’s about doing the job correctly, regardless of the price. If this shop cannot properly perform women’s haircuts, they should not be offering them at all.

I left not only upset, but shocked at the audacity of being asked to pay for a service that was done incorrectly. Instead of asking me for $30, they should be offering an apology and taking accountability. My experience shows a complete lack of professionalism, skill, and respect for customers.

If you are a woman considering coming here for a haircut, please don’t make the same mistake I did. This place is not equipped to do women’s cuts, and what happened to me should never happen to...

Super disappointed...We finally thought we found a permanent place for the guys in our house to go on a regular with a good barber right by our house. After talking with her for several weeks trying to get seen at a good time for both of us we finally got to meet up there. We had discussed pricing before and she knew we were trying to do theTuesday special prices. but on Tuesday that we went she canceled because she got busy, so she said don’t worry I got you when u come back. But nada ....... we actually not only didn’t get the deal we thought we were getting but on top of that ended up paying more then everywhere else ! $45 for my dude and son ...Sucks but oh well lose some win some ~. Guess my hopes were too high on...

Worst barbershop ever Amanda even asked for the tip before the cut 🤦🏻‍♂️ After making appointments she ignores you and takes long breaks without any regard to the client and plays Ashanti till your begging to leave. She can fade but is terrible with the scissors. She overcharges and has poor customer service skills. I use to get my cut their from Danilo but since he moved from there like so many other barbers I now go where he is located just a few blocks away from this shop called Popeyes VIP Barbershop for a perfect cut with a barber that makes you feel VIP. I will never cut my hair from a this place...
