WORST NIGHTMARE

🚨Do not put your trust in Sarah.

I came to Sarah for weft hair extensions, I wanted them for the trips I was taking that month. The first consultation we ordered the hair (I paid $570 which was half) and she assured me it would arrive the next day. Next day I get a text saying the hair won’t arrive, so I asked to cancel the order because i was going on a 2 week trip, she suggested I did it the morning of my flight. The next morning I rushed to brickell in an uber, I get there and she tells me the hair is not there (why not tell me this before??) she starts getting my hair ready but the hair never arrives. So I have to go without any hair. Then she books me an appointment during the two days that I’m back before I leave for my NYE trip, she booked the day before my flight. I confirm the appointment the day before.

The day before my appointment I get a text saying she’s out of town for the weekend and needs to reschedule ❗️❗️❗️

She’s unprofessional, doesn’t take her job seriously. She will screw you over. You want someone reliable that you can trust and will actually show up to the appointments. She’s one person in her tiny salon so she can do what she wants, like leaving town for the wknd only letting people know...

I chose Sarah as a stylist due to the photos I saw on Instagram and her reviews here. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. I found her on Instagram and was clear about my goals and what I wanted to achieve with my hair. I showed photos etc. We agreed it could be done. So I booked an appointment. She sent me a message the day before my appointment that she needed to reschedule which I kindly agreed to. Then an hour before the rescheduled date she told me again that she could not do the service as she didn’t have the time. We agreed on the following day as she would actually have the time. The morning of my appointment she cancelled and said “she didn’t realize how much hair I had”and for the THIRD time did not have time to do my hair. Not only did I not receive an apology or any sort of remorse but I now have no one to do my hair for the event I have coming up. Do not go to this stylist if you value your time and money. Worst experience I’ve ever had with extensions. Within ONE WEEK they were literally falling apart, which is unacceptable given the price and supposed “professional” service. This happened as I was leaving on a month long trip to Europe. I even texted her 3 days before a picture of the weft looking loose, she said "you should be fine", but I wasn't. She never even had the decency to respond to my text. She did however respond only when I started asking for my money back, which she never gave. She insisted on doing one free maintenance instead and I felt trapped. The stylist kept the extra hair that I paid for and never returned it. She didn’t blend or cut the extensions properly, so they looked fake and uneven from the start. When I pointed out the issues, there was no real solution offered.
