I am an experienced PMU artist and took a private masterclass on melanin-rich and hyperpigmented lips with Carla, and this training was everything I hoped for and more.

I initially connected with Carla on Instagram, as she shares so much free and valuable content there regularly for artists. For MONTHS before I signed up for this training, before I was even a student of hers, I would reach out to Carla via Instagram or WhatsApp with questions, she always responded quickly and was so kind and generous with her knowledge. She was also sharing information that I had never encountered before, things I had never been taught before…I feel like our industry is saturated with trainers who have no business teaching. Being a talented artist is not the same as being a gifted teacher. Carla is both. What she teaches is not brand specific, is not geared towards one type of client or one demographic, one type of machine, needle, pigment. She teaches how to think independently and make the most informed choices for the given client, which is crucial as an artist to proceed with each new service with confidence.

I chose to train privately with Carla because I knew that there were technical parts of my service that were a struggle, and I hoped she could watch me work and make corrections in real time, and that is exactly what I got. The model portion of the training was crucial…she adjusted my hand positioning, body positioning, continually correcting and advising throughout the entire model service, pushed me to achieve the results I had been struggling to achieve on my own.

Every question I had, she was able to answer with reasoning why behind the answer.

Unexpectedly, I also received a full kit including the new Sculptura machine, which far exceeded my expectations and I have been using at home on all my lip AND brow clients since returning from training. I couldn’t be more thrilled to use it and my results have changed for the better since making the switch.

I could go on and on. This review is scattered but I would recommend training at Sculpted Studios to anyone. I left feeling like I truly leveled up. I can bet right now that there is no where else that is going to give you better training than with Carla at sculpted. I completed the ultimate PMU program and here’s what I’ll tell you. If you are looking for a real education in permanent make up, Sculpted studios is where you need to be. I have taken many previous trainings with other well-known establishments and artists, and none can compare to the knowledge, and information I received from Carla Ricchiardone. I loved her professionalism, passion for educating fellow artists and genuine love for the PMU industry. She has a wealth of knowledge in the art itself, colour theory, needles, machines and how to correctly implant pigment for the long term results. The list goes on… One thing In particular I am thoroughly grateful for - I never once felt like Carla was holding back vital information, or hesitant to share her knowledge. I felt like she genuinely wanted us you learn right from wrong to be the best artists that we can be.

This class is no joke and is worth every penny. Carla is second to none and world renowned. She knows her stuff inside out and is an amazing educator, business woman and mentor....

Carla is a gem... her artistic skill and knowledge of her craft is incredible, (she has literally been around the world more than once training with the best artists out there) in addition, her "bedside" manner is equally as awesome. I was so worried about having my lips and brows done... she was so supportive and explained every part of the process so I was able to relax and let her do her thing!! I had researched for over a year before letting someone take a needle to my face... Only when I found Carla was I willing to take the leap. Everyone wants perfect lips and perfect brows... Carla can give them to you!! What I found so very impressive is that the 2 ladies that went before me couldn’t have been more opposite in their skin tone and needs… However, they both walked out PERFECT! Im super sensitive and allergic to everything... I was worried... I had absolutely no reaction at all because of the products she uses. I couldn't be happier with the results (truth be told.. there is a few days of healing but after that, I now wake up looking like a queen!) I would highly recommend Carla and Sculpted Studios to anyone looking to “wake up like this”! ...
