CIRCADIA… if you’re looking for a name, this is FOR SURE who you’re looking for!
I spent weeks scavenging through TheNow South Florida location reviews for the words “intuitive” and “reads your body”. I was unable to find it so I’m creating the review i was looking for.
After being met with plain, average therapists who used the same recipe on each costumer to the point of wear and tear on their own technique, i FINALLY found the perfect person.
If the circadian rhythm is a cycle that regulates mental and physical, then Circadia is the therapist who put it back on track when it’s out of wack. Her name is quite fitting and it’s all i could think about during the service.
Speaking of, I have the 80 minute membership and this session felt 3 hours long. I drifted into absolute bliss, even with the sounds of shuffling and other ignorant guests coming in and out. Circadia truly brushed it off my mind as soon as I would hear anything with the amazing service.
From the moment of greeting, you're met with soft, caring eyes and you can tell she cares. You’re are able to connect and discuss things before entering the room. Circadia worked on knots I had no idea existed and actually connected different pain points through my body. She even gave me tips after the session on how to lower pain in between visits!
She not only worked with kneading techniques that are commonly found throughout, but she incorporated her own intuitive locating of pressure points to ease knots. She did an AMAZING job targeting places on my body I had never felt released, especially in the hands, chest and feet.
Circadia listened to and worked with my body so well, somehow naturally locating every knot with no previous indication.
Truly one of a kind and I encourage anyone looking for a little more than a standard massage to book her. Just please keep in mind that these great **natural therapists are one of a kind and deserve to be taken care of the same way they invest more parts of themselves and their energy to help relieve the stresses that accumulate in your energetic field over time. Please tip well, write reviews, and show gratitude in any way you can… as a Now member I’ve seen multiple therapists stop working.
The front desk receptionist was also phenomenal, and although I didn’t get her name, she mentioned being from Michigan. These two ladies truly deserve to be met with gratitude left and right! I truly hope to see them on my next visit, as my Plantation therapist disappeared completely and I’m slightly traumatized and exhausted after having searched up and down for an energetically tuned-in therapist.
Much love to TheNow Wynwood; you have officially taken one of the Plantation...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. I received a birthday gift card to The NOW Massage from my family. I typically avoid overly trendy or high-end places like this, but decided to give it a try. I originally booked a 2:30 PM appointment but called a few hours before to see if I could push it to later in the day. They said they had a 7:30 PM slot available but when I tried to change it, the woman on the phone told me they charge half the cost of the massage just to reschedule. I wasn’t canceling, just adjusting the time, which felt excessive. I went ahead and kept my original time. When I booked, I specifically requested someone strong who could do a deep tissue massage. I emphasized this was important to me, and the person assured me they’d schedule me with the strongest therapist available.
When I arrived I was five minutes late, and then was asked to fill out forms on an iPad as if I was in a doctors office and which I assumed was part of their time, not mine. But that wasn’t the case. My “80-minute” massage ended up being just 70 minutes. That’s already shorter than the standard 90-minute sessions I’ve had everywhere else, and they still managed to cut my time.
They also charged me an extra $20 for the deep tissue service, which I was fine with if I actually received a deep tissue massage. But my masseuse, while very kind, was an older woman who clearly didn’t have the strength for it. It felt more like being lightly tickled than any kind of therapeutic massage. I asked during the massage for it to be stronger and it wasn’t any stronger at any point. After specifically requesting the strongest female masseuse this felt like a slap in the face. Afterwards, I voiced my concerns and they refunded me the $20 deep tissue surcharge, but I still paid $160 for a 70-minute massage that did absolutely nothing for my back pain.
Overall, I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and honestly a little ripped off. This is exactly why I avoid these overhyped, aesthetically pleasing places they rarely deliver on the...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my experience at Now Massage. I was so excited that I even signed up for the membership, but I regret it deeply.
When I signed up, I specifically noted on the form that I had a C-section and that I am breastfeeding. That makes me more sensitive and is exactly why I would want a female therapist who understands a woman’s body and recovery. Despite this, there was zero empathy or consideration from the staff.
I booked my appointment with Yennifer, clearly expecting a female therapist. When I arrived, they told me I hadn’t selected a gender and then proceeded to explain “what gender means” to me in a condescending way. That was a terrible start. Then they told me no female therapist was available, only a male. I asked to reschedule, but instead of showing understanding—especially for a new member with clear medical and personal notes—they tried to charge me for rescheduling. Completely disrespectful.
I ended up taking the massage so I wouldn’t lose money, but it was a terrible experience. I canceled the add-ons I had booked because I had lost all trust in the service. To make matters worse, they don’t even let you cancel right away—you’re forced to pay for another month.
Overall, the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in empathy. The policies feel like a trap, and the entire experience was disrespectful. I cannot recommend this place. You really do get what you pay for, and in this case, it’s...
