After researching this location, I now fully understand the disappointing experience my daughter had at the Pandora store in Great Mall. It appears that the manager, Jasmine Flores, may be at the center of ongoing issues—many negative reviews seem to point directly to her behavior.
Just two days after receiving a ring as a gift, my daughter attempted to exchange it for a smaller size. I was present when she tried it on, saw that it was too big, and we immediately placed it back in the box for return. When she visited the Great Mall location, Jasmine Flores—who identified herself as the store manager—refused the exchange, claiming the ring showed “signs of wear and use.” That’s completely unreasonable. How can a ring show wear from simply being tried on for a few seconds? It’s common for gift recipients to try on jewelry and exchange it if the size is wrong. That’s basic customer behavior and should be expected.
Later that day, my wife called the store to try and clarify the situation. Jasmine Flores was immediately defensive and dismissive. She interrupted my wife, confirmed she was the one who denied the exchange, and said, “That’s final,” without offering any explanation or attempt at resolution. She didn’t take even a moment to explain what signs of “wear” she allegedly observed on a ring that was never worn outside the box. To make matters worse, she wouldn’t even allow my daughter to try on a smaller ring to determine her correct size.
This experience was unacceptable. Customer service requires patience, professionalism, and care—qualities that Jasmine Flores clearly lacks. If someone does not have the temperament or interpersonal skills for a customer-facing role, they should not be in that position. Unfortunately, it appears this is not an isolated incident, as many reviews about this location cite similar encounters with her rude demeanor and baseless return denials.
We have submitted a formal complaint to Pandora’s corporate office and will be reporting this experience to the Better Business Bureau and other consumer protection platforms.
