Kohl's — Local services in Milwaukee

Beautiful store! This addition to downtown brings back the original Grand avenue mall shops we should have NEVER lost in the first place. Was expecting carpet but the hard floor is a unique spin. Also I love the private Kohls elevator that takes you to the sky walk and parking garage on the next street. Its good to have a more well rounded shopping experience again - unpopular but true opinion - that 3rd street 1st floor market hall is a gaslight project to distract us from the fact they stole all 4+ floors of the grand ave mall from us (the public). (Research who bought the grand ave mall some hot shot new york dude with only $ agenda and not the agenda to grow downtown for the public). I hope this Kohls store brings many other shops downtown again before these annoying private offices, rental apartments, food vendors, and Fiserv continue to make noise and eat up the space with no rewarding public benefit. CUT THAT OUT! Give us shopping culture again. I live at Boston Lofts on Vel R Phillips right above Kohls- which is why I'm so passionate about the culture down here. The bright (like DAYLIGHT bright) lighting is a nice touch from Kohls - it really LIGHTS up vel r phillips / 4th st in a positive way after 4 years of depressing covid and closed for business vibes after Boston store. The Sephora is a great addition too! Lets keep growing downtown you guys with big names for the public- its vital for the future...

I was in town for harley davidson homecoming Saturday and needed a pair of sunglasses. There was a woman working the front registers who was on the phone for over 10 minutes with her back to me? I think she was giving someone a chocolate chip cookie recipe because she certainly wasn't waiting on her customers. She was well aware we were standing there and at no time spoke to us or told us that she would be with us in a moment. It wasn't until another random employees walked up and I asked her if she could help me.At that point the woman then got off of her ten to fifteen minute phone call. Very poor customer service.
