Nail Cops — Local services in Minneapolis

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in yesterday and spent over an hour there getting a dip manicure for $50. Went home and realized my nails glow in the dark. I picked the only nude color they had in dip (not an intentional glow in the dark color). I went in just now for another hour to get get them removed and they told me I would not be able to get my money back but could come in AGAIN for a THIRD time to get them done. They have 1 nude dip polish color so no I would not like to come back and get the glow in the dark color again. While getting them removed one of the women simply handed me the phone to speak with the owner Tom, who stated that it’s not in their policy to provide refunds for a service. This said policy that is not posted anywhere in the salon or formalized in any way. “Products you can return if not happy, services you cannot”. I sell services for a living and if someone isn’t happy I can issue a refund so actually yes you can. Not only was I not happy with the service I received but how my entire situation was handled...

Lovely run nail salon tucked away in the downtown district of Minneapolis. The staff is very friendly and always remembers me when I come in. They are open late and work with my schedule when I need to come late in the afternoon/early evening. As far as services go, their attention to detail is very good, the salon is clean, and their prices are reasonable. I used to get gel manicure but as it grew out it would always separate from the nail bed at the cuticle and my hair would get caught in it when is run my hands they my hair. Hang and Jennifer suggested the dip powder and I'll never go back to gel. They file it down perfectly at the cuticle and when it grows out I'm not getting that separation anymore. I have used this place for a while now. Mostly because it's close to where I live and is convenient. I let so many unprofessional things they do slide over the years cause am not a comment person. But lately they doing the poorest job ever. Today to be specific, the person who was doing it not only did opposite of everything I asked but also tried to put me down. I kept trying to tell what I want and she kept talkin with her coworkers ignoring what i was saying. She did not do any good and then told me " u r complaining a lot, I know "u" ppl complain , not a sorry but telling me , my ideas doesn't matter.
