On The RoX — Restaurant in Minneapolis

Visited for the first time a week before Christmas and had a great time. The place really cute Christmas decorations all around, which helped make it feel festive. The bar wasn’t too loud or crowded, which made it easy to converse with my friend and others. The bar area and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The food was good and they had delicious Christmas themed drinks.

The best part of our visit was the bartender Mike. He was absolutely fabulous! Mike not only was prompt, helpful and made delicious drinks, but he was warm, personable and hilarious! He went out of his way for us on everything we wanted and more. I’ll definitely be back specifically for Mike. Went to an event today and waited over 2 hours for food. When we approached someone about it, they went to go check but never came back to give us an update. Someone finally told us it would be comped, but comped means we are still getting the food we just won’t be charged for it. After spending over $60 on tickets, $50 on drinks, and $25 on parking and over 2 hours waiting… we basically just paid $135 for a miserable time. Got an apology from the food runner, but the bartender didn’t even bother apologizing.

FYI, if you advertise an arcade for an event, there should be an arcade. Not just one game of packman and ski ball. Thanks for nothing I guess. Wait, oh yeah, we paid them...
