I was in Mobile for a few days and looked up this place for a Po' Boy. I was interested in the soft shell crab and asked the waitress for a recommendation. She said it was a popular item.

I ordered the soft shell crab large po' boy. It came with a bag of chips. The bread was fresh and crunchy, exactly the way it should be. The soft shell crab was tasty but I wish there was more of it. The rest of the fixin's were great.

I had the Sammy afterwards and it was okay. The cookies were not soft but the ice cream was pretty good. I probably won't order the Sammy again but may be back to try...

I grew up in Midtown near the canon, so I'm biased, but Mobile is great. Mobile has a small town feel in a city. Neighborhoods are close-knit areas where people know each other and look out for each other. The surrounding towns are basically suburbs of Mobile. Downtown Mobile is on the cusp of greatness! Lots a great restaurants, bars, shops, and parks - it’s almost close to being something really fun - but it’s just not quite there yet! It’s coming along though - maybe a little touch or two here and there by the city and the community and the downtown Mobile will really be an area to be proud of - again, it’s close, but still needs a bit more...
