The show room is big and I got what I needed but... The lady named 'Ice' gave 100% unsatisfactory service today. I went to change the battery of my car key. She said she doesn't know how to open the key cover. I told her the battery model number then she suddenly tried to make the sale and she purposefully didn't want to help me out in changing the battery. Actually I'm a new car user in the USA. Even though I don't know how to change it I asked her for some tools to open. She gave me a penny and then she made the bill right away and suddenly went from the counter and started talking to another employee. I literally stayed a long time at the counter and tried to fix the battery. It was very hard for me since I never did this in my lifetime. Finally somehow I changed the battery and I left the shop with so much disappointment. The other part of the story was already I have visited another O'Really showroom at E Arrow Highway and unfortunately they don't have the stock today. Here I met Ms. Diana and she were such amazing staff because when I just asked her the battery, right away she took my key and she herself opened the key and she told me the number of the battery to pick. But unfortunately the battery was finished at the counter. Then she asked me "Do you need anything else? I said yes, I need floor mats, then I checked floor mats but I don't get the right one which I was looking for. Also she told me that you can check nearest our showrooms for the battery. That's why I searched for other showrooms and finally reached the Monrovia showroom. I was so happy even though I didn't get the things which I needed from the Arrow Highway showroom. Around 3 months ago at night during the time of heavy rain I visited the arrow highway showroom and Ms. Teena helped me to get and changed my car windshield wiper. That is the only reason I'm going again and again to the O'Really. I will never forget that day because I was heading to a long trip and due to heavy rain I was unable to dive my car since the wind shield is a complaint. As I said I'm new to the USA and I'm unaware of changing the wiper, only because of Teena She made it happen. After this incident, I went many times to the same showroom and bought many things from this showroom. But I have never seen Teena in the showroom.
Dear owner, The staff like Ms. Ice, Monrovia will kill your business, she doesn't have a customer care attitude and she doesn't have kindness to humans too. I don't want to change the battery by your staff if they are not permitted to change but at least she can hear me patiently and she can wait for me to give me some suggestions because she knows that I don't know how...
Read moreSo just under 3 years ago I bought a battery for my 2017 Kia Forte from the Monrovia O'Reilly Auto Parts. Today, my car would not start and I realized the battery was dead. This was a bad situation because I was trying to rush to make it to my nephew's final basketball game of the season. So I had my father jump my car and I drove down to the Monrovia O'Reilly store. I found a receipt in my glove compartment that stated that the battery was still under warranty and I showed it to the manager. He said he could replace my battery but the new battery would be under the same warranty, so if the battery died again after the initial warranty on the first battery expired I could not get a new one for free. Also, because the store was short-staffed he could not send someone outside to help me remove the battery from my car. This annoyed me a little as I had to call my father and wait for him to come down to bring me some tools so I could remove the battery myself. This took longer and I was pretty annoyed when I walked back into the store with the battery.
However, I think that they could tell that they had done me a disservice because when I came back in, Sergio, the clerk that rang me up, was beyond helpful and went the extra mile to provide me excellent customer service. He first recommended that I buy some battery grease so that I would have better battery connection and so that the battery would not corrode with time. He then informed me that they actually do not make the battery anymore that I had purchased three years ago. The new model is actually $66 more. However, Sergio assured me that he would be able to waive the fee and because I was buying a new model of battery the warranty would actually reset. Therefore, I was able to get 3 more years of warranty coverage on the new battery. I was able to walk out of the store having only spent $3.
Thanks to this O'Reilly branch, and the help of Sergio, I was able to turn an unfortunate situation into a positive experience. It's employees like this that really go above and beyond the call of customer service duty. Thanks to him, I was able to make it to my nephew's game on time, and hopefully my car will be good on battery for a...
Read moreVery helpful, the counter person took extra time to look up my windshield wipers motor. I was able to use tools they had loaned me to replace my washer motor. Unfortunately the motor in the system didn't match up, they found the error and quickly had the motor shipped that afternoon. I wasn't able to pick up the motor before they closed and Selvin waited for 20 minutes for me to arrive. The next morning I had the motor out, found a bolt broke. They located one ( in stock)
After installing new motor, I decided to replace my wiper blades, I had a lot of choices. All this for a wiper motor, I was fortunate that it was working for the rainy week we had right after I had the motor installed. I've been back since then and have been pleased with the level of service I recieve every time. O'Reilly has a very good group of employees. Thank you for...
