kawaii kandies — Local services in Monterey

I came to Monterey with my girlfriend to explore this town and Kawaii Kandie’s was one of the things on her list to check out. The first day we came on 10/11/22 there was a Farmers Market event, understandably so, it was closed and there was a sign displaying “closed will return 1:10pm which we thought was odd. We looked up the hours and adjusted our plans to come the next day. The next day 10/12/22 it was also closed with the same sign displaying the same thing. We thought we’d give this place one more chance and to our surprise on 10/13/22 it appears to STILL be closed. It’s frustrating to find a store such as this to be closed for three days in a row and not have the hours of operation updated. If it is temporarily closed, please post a sign saying so! We loved the FUN, candy shoppe decor, mother and daughter working behind the counter together, and the fun selection! My little family comes here as often as we can and we love it !!! The owner is so nice and a complete sweetheart !! This is our favorite candy store in Monterey . She brings real Pokémon stuff from Japan and it’s just the best . Not to mention she has my favorite seaweed (the Pokémon kind) and you can’t find it...
