I am hoping that this post gets to any prospective customers. I have thought I have seen it all but surely you don't see anything crazier than somebody charging a customer who has already paid for their device ahead of time more money to help them set up their phone.
Jan 22nd at about 230/245pm I walked into their store as I placed an order for a phone to be picked up through their kiosk pickup area. I'm already a customer. I don't want to be sold services at the door. I just want to pick up my phone and return the old one. i interact with the sales guy, a younger blonde haired guy. Monotone as everything and could not care less unless you were going to help him make his commission. He pretty much walks me to the kiosk and tells me that I can just grab my phone out of there. Easy enough. Great. Guess what? There's more. He mentions that if I want him to assist with my brand new phone that I already purchased and paid for, I would have to pay $30 for them to transfer service from one device to the other. Since when does the customer have to pay extra for a representative to do their job. I thought I heard him wrong and asked the other lady who was working with him the same thing and she confirmed that it would be $30 for them to do. What once was a service they provide when you buy a new phone from them. Is it because I bought my phone ahead of time and they didn't get a commission? And that's not even the kicker when I asked about the Wi-Fi so that I could set up my own phone since apparently they're "so busy" and I wouldn't pay their scam artist fee they insisted the Wi-Fi was not working and I would have to set up a hotspot or just go home and do it. I told them how extremely inconvenient it was for them not to do their job and they just put their faces down into their phones like clockwork. Not even dignifying an answer. Just acting like robots. Is this what Verizon wants representing their brand? A bunch of sales reps who are too good to help individuals at the door? And when I told you that they were busy. I hope you caught the sarcasm. I was the only freaking customer there. They two couldn't give a rats behind. Avoid this place...
Read moreI would give this zero stars after the horrible service we received from the sales guy (Frank) all of the way to the manager ("Jazz").
The purpose of our visit to this location was to upgrade our cell phone, instead we were deceived and forced to pay hidden and unexplained charges.
We stated that we wanted to return to our old plan and were told that we had to pay more money in "restocking" fees per company policy. We were also made to feel petty and that we were making a big deal over $5.00, when the charges were far more.
"Jazz" came at us with an attitude and was extremely disrespectful to us and the other customers. She should not be in a management position and was not a good representative of Verizon.
We will end our service with Verizon after more than 20 years as a customer, because of today's experience. We learned that they just want money and the customer does not matter.
We do not recommend this location or Verizon "customer service". Perhaps this location could benefit from additional training to treat customers...
Read moreWe entered the store. There was a lady behind the counter helping a couple. So we looked at phones. 10 minutes went by, a guy asked if we were being helped. I said no not yet. He said someone will be with you shortly. I said ok and continued to look at phones. Another person walked in the store, the other rep helped him right away. We still were not helped. I made a decision on which phone I wanted, and went to the counter to be helped. Then the lady that was helping the couple came to me and said I was not on the list to be helped and asked for my phone number and name. I had been in the store 20 minutes. This lady saw me the entire time I was there and did not say anything about signing in and being on a list. No one wanted to help until I showed I was ready to spend money. The guy that walked in after me was helped right away. I was not helped and rudely told I needed to be on a list. I just left the store. Being ignored and rude service does not deserve my money. I will not be returning...
