If I could rate it less than one star I would.
Upon entering the store we asked to get a bra fitting to which the lady huffed at and said ok. After telling us she hated folding underwear she took us to the fitting room, and then said “wait you’re not wearing a bra.” Which okay, there’s probably some reason why wearing one gets a better measurement BUT she proceeded to basically berate us for not wearing one—even though the whole reason we were there is because our current bras were leaving bruises and dug in painfully. This was mentioned. The lady (who’s name I wished I got) asked questions like “so you leave the house without a bra?”, “do you work from home is that why you’re not wearing one?“, and then said, “well even when you’re home you should at least wear a bralette or something.” First off, the whole reason we came was to get a bra. If wearing one would help in the fitting then cool let me try on one and we’ll try this again. Second, it does not matter if I leave the house without one. It is MY choice if/when I wear one. I’m so happy that she likes to wear bras everywhere and in her home, but I don’t have to nor want to. Thank you for your opinion though.
After all of that, we got a half done measurement—which again okay maybe not having a bra would make it that way but she could have had us try on one and THEN remeasured, OR simply refused. We got a range of sizes (which we could have guessed ourselves) and by this point she was rather huffy and we decided to look ourselves. We ended up leaving without getting a bra and have decided to never go back to a Lane Bryant because this is our fourth bad experience—and the rest we had bras on. In this experience in particular I feel like there were several different ways to handle the situation all of which did not happen.

Read moreI'm seriously considering NEVER shopping at Lane Bryant again. I recently purchased some bras online using my PayPal account and when the bras arrived nearly two weeks later (mentioned because, surely by this time, the funds would have cleared PayPal and been in their account at that time) they did not fit properly. I took the bras back to the store to hopefully exchange them for some that did fit but the store didn't have any of this particular bra in stock so I was forced to return the bras. Much to my chagrin, my refund dollars are being held hostage because I used my PayPal account to pay for my online order. Turns out that I get to choose between being issued a gift card, AKA being forced to spend my money at Lane Bryant only, or waiting 2 weeks for PayPal to return my money (which cleared my account the minute I used the PayPal account). It should be noted that I may very well have spent the refund money (and more) there anyway but the fact that I'm being FORCED to spend the money only at Lane Bryant just rubs me the wrong way as a customer. I've emailed customer service all of this information. In absence of a reasonable reply, I will likely closed my credit account and discontinue shopping at Lane Bryant. It should go without saying that I will be sharing this information and the outcome of this issue with as many of my friends as possible. Hope they don't mind being held hostage... Much...
Read moreIt stinks that I have to drive from Boise to Nampa to find a store that has my bra size, but i digress. I went into the Cacique store yesterday because it was the last day for their big sale and I had an extra coupon. At first, I was not impressed because no one greeted me when I came in or offered to help me find sizes as I carried around 6 bras. I must be an odd size, because there was not very much selection of my size in the bras on the buy 2 get 2 free sale. (It was the night that the sale was ending, so I wasn't surprised that there weren't many) In fact, I only found 2 bras in my size, so I figured that I could not take advantage of the sale. I went up to check out with the bras that I found, and the ladies in the store told me that I could order sale bras from the website and combine them with this offer. The bras will be mailed to my home in Boise , too, so I don't have to make another trip to Nampa! The two of them spent A LOT of time finding the few bras left in my size from the website so I could get the sale price. They really went above and beyond to help me. If you need a large, hard-to-find size, this is the place to go! Now to get a location...
