WORST STORE EVER! I purchased a stereo and had it installed by bestbuy. 2 days later the stereo quit working,all gauges quit working, digital indicator for park neutral drive quit working,interior lights wouldn't shut off, dash lights quit,and blower motor wouldn't stop even with the keys out. All power windows and locks quit,as well as the automatic start. All this happened at the same time. We went back to best buy and the manager of the Installation bay part checked it out and immediately came at us with an attitude. Said he didn't know what happened, but everything was working fine except the blower motor was staying on still. But the problem kept happening, everything including stereo would go out. He blamed the fact it previously had an aftermarket stereo. I told him put my factory radio back in and refund money and I was going to corporate about the rest. After things got heated with him saying he made a major electrical change and now there is a problem and it wasn't his fault (definition of his fault) I said listen to yourself. That's exactly your fault. Finally he agreed to pay for the blower motor resistor he Insisted was causing the blower to run constantly. When I asked why the resistor had constant power he explained to me what a resistor is. (I'm an engineer with 16 years experience, I know what a resistor is. He doesn't understand wiring) I asked again why the resistor had power,he had no answer and I realized the question and how electrical components work is over his head. Took it to a shop and the control module was fried. Bestbuy did pay as promised but this guy isn't a "certified " anything as they boast. He made a mess of a vehicle we've had zero issues with for 4 years. Soon as he undone his work,zero issues again. Since I learn slow,I ordered some airpods from them. They shipped them through something called roadie. Check tracking 2 days after they were supposed to arrive,and the shipper canceled my order. Chatted with bestbuy and they had nothing to say helpful. Told me to take it up with roadie. I didn't buy them from roadie. I bought them from bestbuy. How can a shipper cancel my order? So I opened a PayPal dispute and got my refund. Done with bestbuy as a company,and done with this location ! DON'T GET ANYTHING INSTALLED HERE! Their "techs" are not knowledgeable about basics on how things work in general, and can't install without messing your vehicle up. Literally worst experience with any shop ever! Read moreMy experience was pretty bad. A combination of wasted time, gas, misleading information and some bad customer service ruined my TV buying experience. False advertisement for a open box tv listed online as being excellent condition. I called to check and was told that all parts were found except the stand which was being located so I drove an hour out in the rain at night only to find out that it was a display tv that had sitting on display for over 8 months and there was no box, no remote, no stand, etc. After about 20 minutes of searching with the very nice sales and customer service male reps, I realized they were looking for the wrong stand. While I was sitting as they were completing their closing duties, I looked under one of the floor spots that they didn't think to check which was the floor base under a wall of nothing but the TV brand I was buying and was finding parts. As I started finding parts a supervisor asked me to come to the front so she could 'help me' which felt more like she was trying to rash me out of the store because they had just closed. I get it because I WORKED AT BEST BUY in the past. But at that point were not really trying to help find the parts. They offered to discount the price of a random universal mount online. I asked about if there was something else they could do since there were tons of other tvs there of my brand, but they said discounting the $25 for this random mount/stand online was all they could do. Personally, I would've been satisfied with a $10 discount for a in store tv. The supervisors were all aware that I drove from murfreesboro at night in the rain but there was just no compassion or genuine care about me being there and wanting to leave with a TV. I generally can tell when there is weak and poor customer service vs a true concern and desire to help. I maintained my polite composure while communicating that I was more than interested in wanting some sort of resolution that would've allowed me to leave with a functional tv for that night. She kept asking me to drive back up another day. I told her it was an hour away and I work over 60 hours a week at 2 jobs. She looked and sounded as if she could care less and she would cut me off when I attempted to explain things such as we were looking for the wrong stand. So that supervisor who was clearly indifferent to me as a customer and as a person who was inconvenienced and impacted negative by their mistake made up my mind to buy from another store altogether. Read moreI recently ordered an Apple Watch online and paid for the watch with my debit card. I received a notification back from Best Buy that my watch would be ready for curbside pickup in 1 hour. I called several times to see if the watch was ready for pickup but it never was ready so I decided to go to the store and check and see after waiting nearly 3 hours to pick it up. When I got to the store I was told that I could not get the watch because the store hadn’t received my payment even though it had been taken out of my account. Then I was told that my payment was being held to check for fraud. I tried to get the managers to explain to me what they were talking about but no one could explain. I informed them that I was calling my bank and checking to see what was going on. I got on the phone with my bank and they informed me and the Best Buy managers that there was no fraud on my account and that the money for my watch had been paid to them and they needed to either give me my watch or my money back. After about an hour and half of fighting with them about this and showing them and them speaking to the bank on the phone the managers continued to refuse to give me my money or the watch. I refused to leave till I got one or the other. I feel that they discriminated against me because everyone else was able to get their items and not have a problem. I will be calling the corporate office on Monday and also getting copies of the tape from my bank of them agreeing with what Best Buy was doing was wrong and I will be filing a lawsuit against this company. I will never spend another dime of my money there and I will tell all my friends and family members not to either. I feel I was treated very unfairly and no one should be treated the way I was treated. This happened today at the store up by rivergate mall. I used to buy lots of electronics and computers from Best Buy but after today I will not spend one dime in their store ever again. This was down right discrimination. I suggest anyone that is thinking about shopping here to think twice because if they did this over a watch then they will do it over anything. It would have been different had I not had the proof from my bank and my online account showing and telling them that they have been paid but they were extremely rude and hateful.
