First and foremost, it is a literal alley, if that helps set some expectations. This is not like Broadway, which is like a downtown strip, it really is and feels like an alley. But it's like a secret club kinda alley. There are doors and artwork tucked everywhere and lots of bars and spots to visit. There were several places that made me pause and go, "what's that? What's there? Can we go inside?" It's a different vibe than the Honky Tonks, but still a lot of live music, and good food (more expensive too, for the most part). Also a lot of history - would definitely recommend at least walking through, if not making a reservation at one of...

A cool and historic alternative to the craziness of Broadway. Printers Alley offers a more laid-back, yet still lively, nightlife experience. We enjoyed the mix of speakeasy-style bars and live music venues, and it was a great way to see a different side of Nashville's nightlife. It has a lot of history, which adds to the atmosphere. It's a bit small, so you might not spend a ton of time there, but it's definitely worth a visit for a unique and...

You can have some fun in this area, with smaller venues that aren't like the bars on Broadway. Jazz, karaoke, etc... just a bit different atmosphere from downtown. May not appeal to everyone because of its backstreet alley setup. But it's probably best to scope out during the day, when the crowds are light, and see if it's for you. Evening crowds may cause wait line as the venues are smaller, but on Saturday's you can wait in lines...

Printer’s Alley in downtown Nashville is a hidden gem that’s a little bit off Broadway, and I loved discovering it! It’s kind of tucked away, but once you find it, you’re in for a treat. The alley is packed with honky-tonk bars, live music venues, and other cool places to check out. It has a really fun vibe, and there’s always something going on. If you’re in Nashville for a weekend, make sure to stop by Printer’s Alley for a good time!
