If it were possible to give TEN stars I would. As a wedding planner, I work at lot of hotels so I have the advantage of seeing what the client sees and how well everything flows behind the scenes. I can honestly say that nowhere that I have had the pleasure of working do things flow better behind the scenes than at Noelle, which absolutely ensures an amazing guest experience!
Whether you are simply there to dine at Makeready (I highly recommend it. The food is EXCELLENT!!) Luis and his team always go above and beyond to make sure that every dining experience is amazing...to cocktails at the bar in the lobby. Doesn't matter if you are there for an event, as a wedding guest or even a walk-in (seriously...walk-in for a cocktail if you're not staying there) Dennis and Domonique are truly artists when it comes to mixology. They can make all the classics, make them with a fun twist or even create something entirely new if you just tell them your preferred flavor palate. Also be sure to check out Hidden Bar downstairs...with the ever changing themes and signature cocktails it's a huge miss if you don't go at least once...truly a "hidden" Nashville gem and pop up to the roof where you will also find Rare Bird. One of the best rooftop bars with the most beautiful view of the city's skyline!! Spirits not your thing? Go to Drug Store Coffee in the lobby! Trust me. Those pastries are to die for!! And the service you'll receive while your caffeine is crafted is certainly worth mention as well. Cass, Will and Blake are always there to serve with a smile, as you how your visit to Nashville has been and to make the most delicious suggestions. Seeing them is ALWAYS my first stop whether I am there for a meeting or an event. They set the tone and start things off right!
Now, if you aren't simply stopping in and you opt to stay there you are in for a real treat! The front desk team of Martina, Sierra, Gary and Angela are there to greet you with a smile. They are fast, efficient and incredibly knowledgable about anything regarding the city, the hotel and pretty much anything else you'd want to know. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and very well taken care of. This level of care extends to the beautifully appointed guest rooms flooded with natural light, extra comfortable beds and luxury bathrooms. Artful hints and touches of the mid-century theme and feel of the hotel can be found throughout making the overall feel of elegance permeate every inch of this beautiful hotel.
I would be remiss if, as a wedding planner, I didn't make mention of Jordan, Catering Sales Manager and her incredible catering team. They are TRULY a team. It is rare to see such cohesion behind the scenes. It is even more rare to continually see the same team members over and over each time I am there for an event, so Noelle must be doing something right to retain such a top notch team! Jordan, along with the assistance of Meer, Marsil, Nagwa, Wagdy and Erin never let a single detail go unnoticed! Truth be told, with Jordan and the helm I am not the least bit surprised. My team followed Jordan from her previous event venue because she is so fantastic to work with. That said, she really has one of the hardest working teams in the business! Meer and Marsil are always checking in with my team and I to ensure that things are running smoothly. If there is anything they haven't anticipated, which is rare, they seem to know what we need before we even finish asking! Nagwa, Wagdy and Erin are always there with sweet smiles ready to help make our clients day the best they've ever had. They were tirelessly and are always ready to jump in and assist with anything that they see that needs doing. I am sure that a great deal of this has to do with their exemplary leader, Jordan who is not only on top of every single solitary detail but is answering emails and phone calls at all hours, works tirelessly on each detail to absolutely guarantee that every event is perfection. She truly does the Noelle proud!
You would be foolish not to book a stay here...
Read moreWe stayed at Noelle for 5 nights in June. The first two days were great and we really enjoyed what the hotel had to offer. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, staff members were friendly, and the hotel is in a great location.
The only issue at this time was our bathroom faucet fixtures did not work properly and it was difficult to turn the water on. Both handles (hot and cold) would just spin when turning them and we realized that they could just be pulled right off. The only way to get water was to push down firmly on the handle and turn at the same time, but even then we had to turn multiple times just to get a trickle. This would have been just a small inconvenience had it not been for what followed.
The third day there, the cold water stopped working and we were unable to take a shower as the water was too hot to stand under. The toilet even filled with hot water and was warm to the touch. This caused steam to build and every time I sat on the seat it was wet with steam. Also, have you ever tried brushing your teeth in scalding hot water? Not fun. We reported the issue that evening to the front desk.
The next day there was still no hot water and no word from the hotel staff so I went down to report the issue again. At that time I was told it was a known issue for more than just our room and that they were working on it. We went about our day and returned late that afternoon only to find we were still not able to shower without getting scalded, so I called the front desk and was given multiple apologies each time I expressed my discomfort and the fact that we couldn’t even take showers or brush our teeth normally. No real solution was given to me, just apologies and no estimate as to when the issue would be resolved.
After a few minutes of this I finally had to ask to be moved to another room. This, in my opinion, should have been offered immediately since it was the third time I was speaking to staff about not having any cold water.
We gathered up our belongings and moved to another room that I was told was equivalent to the first room. Early on we noticed a white noise machine in the new room and quickly figured out why it was there. We were placed right above Printers Alley and the noise was quite constant well into the early morning hours.
The noise alone would not have been a big deal except we now had the experience of non working faucet fixtures and no cold water causing us to have to move to another room at our request. All of this combined made for a frustrating experience overall and I would not stay here again.
I rated the rooms two stars because while they looked five stars, functionality knocked it down to two. You can’t have a room that just looks luxurious and nice, it should live up to expectations. I rated service at three stars mainly due to the way the water issue was handled. It made me feel like they weren’t prepared to offer anything to fix the issue unless I asked myself. Not what you’d expect in the hotel industry, or any service industry for...
Read moreThey are running a SCAM at this hotel by charging the 3 taxes on your bill TWICE!! I called and e-mailed with no response....overcharged hundreds of dollars
There is a big difference between how the website presents the hotel in it's marketing materials and actually being in the hotel itself..
I get the sense that this hotel, when it first opened, was really spectacular. Sadly I just checked in for five nights and it is showing its age... There were three bellmen watching me struggle with my bags and nobody offered to take my bags and check me in. I had to open the door myself while they just stood there...
People at the front desk are nice but everyone seems under 22 years old.. Are there any adults on staff?
Simple questions like which way is the river, how do I get to the food hall, which direction is north when I walk out the front door? Everyone seemed stumped... These are just basic questions...
Rooms could use some upgraded furniture which is already showing signs of distress.... My room had coffee stains and leftover food greese stains on the furniture, but they were quick to replace it when I brought it to their attention...
Someone really needs to walk into the main lobby and rearrange the furniture and straighten it and fluff the pillows and rearrange all the accessories, add new plants, it's such an easy fix...... It looks like it hasn't been touched in ages......
The coffee bar is out of water, no cups sitting out... The light is burned out over the coffee bar as well....
I would suggest people at the front desk saying "welcome" when you check in......
I'm not sure what they mean by city views from the room, because my room faces a stone block hotel and there's no other view other than that right in front of my face..... Feels a little bit like one of those bad views from a New York City hotel...
They really need to up their game with some sophistication, attention to detail, and upgraded customer service....
Granted, I work in FF&E as an interior designer for the hospitality industry so it's difficult for me not to notice all these things......
I could fix that place in 5 hours flat...
Also someone needs to come in and straighten all the merchandise and the gift shop...
It is SO LOUD in the hotel.... You can hear every car honking outside, every conversation from the people in the rooms next to you and all the drunk people in the hallways....
Remember you are four blocks from all the bars on Broadway and Printers Alley is directly behind the hotel, so you can hear the music playing all night long...
Definitely not a hotel for a business trip...
I must be paying a very high rate at $400 a night with taxes being an extra $100 a night.....
I should have stayed at the new W hotel or the new Thompson hotel over in the Gulch neighborhood which is much newer and has nicer amenities and is much quieter and more...
