I recently stayed at the Fairlane for 4 nights with my family during our first ever visit to Nashville! It was an amazing experience and we were so impressed I wanted to make the effort to share a review. Everything about it was outstanding and besides the beauty, cleanliness and high end feel of such a boutique type hotel it was the staff and location that made it extra special!
I wish I took note of more of their names as they were so friendly, positive and helpful. I will say Eric the valet was the person who first greeted us at the curb as we pulled up our car from the 12 hour drive and what an awesome first impression! - very cool guy with a fun, welcoming vibe and so upbeat and positive! A great ambassador for your brand to be on the front lines! Following that, the front desk staff were able to get us in our rooms right away despite arriving early - they also provided us a welcome toast as shown in the pic I attached! The next morning at the bagel place every worker seemed to enjoy their job and genuinely wanted to know your name and were happy you stopped by! The complimentary coffee was a nice surprise bonus to start each day! The housekeeping staff had an office on our floor and always had a warm greeting and were quick to respond to any question or request we had. It seems pretty clear that there is a strong culture of positivity, encouragement and teamwork that has been emphasized and cultivated here!
The amazing benefit of the prime location where this hotel is situated in the city cannot be overstated. It is so easy to get to off the highway yet it is also so close to the major spots you will want to walk to while taking in all the excitement Nashville has to offer. It is a short and direct walk to Broadway Street and Printer's Alley where you will see all the live music everyone raves about. You will find the world famous Ryman Auditorium is close by on your way to Broadway St.
We actually came across a newly opened Sinatra lounge/restaurant that is right across the street from the hotel where the ambiance and singer & piano player were incredible! Another recommendation I can give is to strongly suggest you get a slice of pizza at Manny's which is located directly behind the hotel and was a very cool experience! Manny and his family offer the best pizza in Tennessee (barstool sports guy gave it the highest review in the state and Manny even got a special commendation from the Tennessee government!). On an unrelated note there is a Walgreen's pharmacy conveniently located a couple stores down from Manny's which was handy for us when we needed to pick up some medicine.
Hopefully people find this information helpful. All this high praise is sincere and well earned! Enjoy your stay in Nashville and rest assured that the Fairlane Hotel comes highly...

We booked the penthouse for our company retreat for ~35 people.
The pros: the rooms are nice and location is close to broadway.
Most of the staff is kind, but management is a pain to deal with. First of all, no one ever contacted me or reached out to give me a walk through of all the location for our conference, who to contact if I had issues with catering or wifi, and the F&B team is severely disorganized. I had to organize all of this myself. We've booked numerous offsites and never had this be the case. I went to the front desk on a few different occasions when I could not reach our contact or we had issues.
The catering here is insanely over priced and mediocre. Would not recommend this at all for catering. They wanted to charge $14/pp per day for soda and an additional $8/pp per day for bottles of pure leaf iced tea.
Our food was frequently cold and unappetizing, we ran out of coffee and food more than once during both breakfast and lunch and the team was slow to turn this around. See pictures for the setup of our breakfast for 35 people the first day. No chaffing dishes and not enough coffee or water.
The staff was kind and I empathized with them, but stay clear of Aubree at all costs. One I first arrived, our breakfast was supposed to be at 8am and was pushed to 9. I later found out this was an oversight of our planning company, but in the moment trying to rectify the situation and reach Aubree was difficult. She refused to call me and would only respond to texts. Not great when you have 30+ staring at you to get coffee and food going. She was frequently responsive via text, but I shouldn't have to text you each time we run out of food, this shouldn't happen in the first place.
The penthouse sucks. I was assured that it would be enough space for our group (it was not) and I was assured we had enough breakout space (we did not). The concept is cool, but the space itself has much to be desired. Since the pricetag was so high for soda/teas we asked to bring our own and asked for iced or a minifridge to keep this cool. The repair guy who came to speak to us was rude and was asking questions about switching out a fridge and being unhappy about it. It was a strange experience. The fridge was then leaking, so this did not work out.
Overall for the price you pay, you can get much better options. I frequently overheard the staff unhappy with management and it's clear that management only cares about the bottomline. The catering was the most expensive and worst we've ever seen. I'm sure there will be some response from them after this, but planners be warned! It's not worth...
Read moreFirst off, how often are the employees simply going through the motions and are NO FUN! Let alone informative and attentive? I was there on business. So, fun was necessary. 6/14/2024-6/16-2024-RM1007 Ali or Ally maybe even Alley. I am guessing she is a manager on some level. She was simply brilliant. Whether she was allowing Bruce (The Kid) and I to educationally experiment in the downstairs bar (I was the only one there at the weird hour of 2pm and I paid to experiment), or making sure my dinning in Ellingtons on the 4th floor was more than I could have hoped, running across an "Ali" (I like this spelling) is rare. I was so grateful. I hope she is there the next time I visit. Jonathan at the front desk. I had a 4 day stop in Chicago (I am from San Diego) I was going to be in earlier than the check in time so, I called The Fairlane and Jonathan answered. I made fun of the fact that I would be early and could I have an early check in. He made fun of the fact that they had been very busy and he did not think my corner room would be ready that early. "I'll keep an eye on it and see what I can do." I walked up to the front desk in the 1pm hour and asked if I was speaking with Jonathan, he replied I was. I said that I had called him from Chicago and was I lucky enough to get my room at such an early time. He sarcastically looked me over and said, "Well, let's see." His next action was to ask for my CC for in room charges and he handed me my keys. He always made sure to be welcoming by name whenever he saw me around the hotel. During my time with Bruce, I met Jamie. Jamie also works in the Bagel shop attached to the bar. She was so great to speak with since we are both in the ...wait for it...Music business. I have been in the biz for 35+ years. I had a blast speaking with a young voice. The crew in Ellingtons. In a Restaurant like Ellingtons it can get stuffy. When I am alone on business, I always sit at the bar of such a place. If the "Tenders" are not talkative, let alone fun during the first shot and a beer, I walk. They were great. This was the night before I left (6-15-2024) Addison had just started. It was her first night. And here is where I will embarrass myself. Issac or Isaiah, possibly a name that is not even close to what I just mentioned was so cool and so much fun. He was the perfect antidote to a long day and a somewhat late-ish dinner. Obviously, Ali chipped in on this experience as well. Well, there ya go. I remembered everyones name -one because they earned my respect. Is there a higher praise? Now, if you are naturally an a$$, your milage may vary. So,...
