Disappointed with our experience at Stateside kitchen. If you are coordinating a bachelorette party, I highly recommend you do not book Stateside for your brunch as they are not accommodative of large parties and are extremely disorganized
I booked this for a bachelorette party a month in advance. I even called to double check that we were confirmed. We got there at 11:30 for our 11:45 reservation and they let us know that their systems were "down all morning" and that they've been calling people. We never received any calls or notifications that this was the case. What happened was they double booked our table, and wouldn't let us sit at the two tables that were available and that would fit us ("because there were other reservations"), basically implying that our reservation was less important than others. After waiting for 45 minutes, they put us at a back room and brought us free mimosas and fried oreos.
After 45 minutes of waiting for our food, they brought us green tea shots because our food was taking forever- it seemed like they were trying to get us drunk so we'd ignore the fact that their kitchen was slow. We had somewhere else to go so we requested they pack up our food so we could eat in our ubers.
I ended up taking care of the bill where they slyly included the fried oreo balls (which were given to us complimentary) and included a 22% tip which I would NEVER give for the awful service that they provided us and the complete lack of empathy that they gave us.
If someone from Stateside wants to reach out and make this right that would be great. We were respectful but it's hard when you're dealing with an establishment that doesn't seem to value you. If you are a planner like me and you are planning a bachelorette party in Nashville, I would not recommend Stateside Kitchen as they are unreliable to large parties, they are disorganized, and they are not strong with...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Stateside Kitchen, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. Let me start with the highlight of the day—the DJ! The music selection was on point, and the DJ knew how to keep the crowd entertained throughout the day. The energetic atmosphere created by the music added an extra layer of excitement to the entire dining experience.
Now, while the music was great, I must admit that it was quite loud. It might not be an issue for some, but for those looking to have a more intimate conversation, it could be a bit overwhelming. However, if you're looking for a lively and vibrant time, Stateside Kitchen's DJ is definitely worth checking out.
The service, on the other hand, was a bit slow. It took longer than expected for our orders to arrive, and we had to wait a while to get the attention of the waitstaff. Despite the delay, the servers were polite and accommodating when we did interact with them, which helped alleviate the frustration caused by the wait.
Now, let's move on to the drinks—the espresso martini was simply delightful! It was the perfect blend of coffee and cocktail, and it provided just the right pick-me-up to keep the day going. I highly recommend trying it if you're a fan of both coffee and cocktails.
In terms of the ambiance, the restaurant has a trendy and modern vibe, which adds to the overall experience. The stylish decor create a chic atmosphere, making Stateside Kitchen a great spot for a day out with friends.
In conclusion, Stateside Kitchen offers a great dining experience with a fantastic DJ who knows how to set the mood. The only downside is the volume of the music, which might not be ideal for everyone. The service could use some improvement in terms of speed, but the friendly staff makes up for it. And of course, don't miss out on their delightful espresso...
Read moreWas a bit early to stroll into printers alley but with all of the people walking around I couldn't help but find myself in front of the dream hotel and I wanted to stop in and check on the coktail program since one of the local coktail gurus recently left there. I was a bit disappointed, and it would be an understatement. It didn't taste like fresh juice right away. Sent back the por star martini riff and ordered their spicy marg riff instead. Bartender looks at me dead in the eye with a deadly glare, and deadpan says in a monotone voice, "What's wrong with it"? I said "its just not good". I know bartenders are at different levels, and it was not my intention to slip into coktail snob mode at 2 in the afternoon, but she started it! I tried the spicy marg she made instead, and It was better, but it's still not very good and certainly not worth any amount of money. I asked for the check, and she said that she's "not charging me for the re-make." Where is this a policy anywhere? Unfortunately, customer service is a dying art. We downed the drinks, paid the chec, and caught a lift to a better cocktail bar. Now, to be fair, it was the afternoon, and none of their top bartenders would be working the stateside lounge anyway. I'll keep my eye on this spot and come back in a few days to check out the pop-up "chocolate factory" theme at parlor my original destination but we forgot they open limited late night hours and dirty little secret remains one of the best "clubs" in Nashville. Stateside just isn't it for drinks. All in all, I recommend stateside kitchen to anyone staying at or around the dream hotel and feeling lazy. If you don't want to go far or wait for uber eats totally grab a bite here. The food smelled pretty decent. Just avoid the stateside bar. Hit up parlor when it opens or DLS on...
