I have been going to this Starbucks for 4 years. They are always quick, always pleasant, food is always good and hot and itâs very rare I ever have to have a drink re-made. But when I do they are so sweet and accommodating about the request. You can tell they are particular about who they hire which I appreciate. No matter the change, their team has always been impeccable. This morning, a gal I have seen on my weekly Starbucks trips, greeted me behind the counter. She asked what I needed and that was to have my drink re-made (just too much cream) she said it was no problem, and passed my drink on to the barista and they re-made my drink to perfection. While waiting, a girl walked in to get her mobile order and the kind gal that addressed me, addressed her and said âGoodmorning Jessica!â You could tell by Jessicaâs response she was surprised she knew her name but also that in that moment it made Jessicaâs day. As she walked off, I told her âI think she was surprised you knew her name.â And that is when Holly introduced herself to me as the new manager of Starbucks on State St. So congrats Holly! Keep up the awesome work! You are making individual mornings better for all of us with your thoughtfulness. I got my coffee from a very nice girl named Bri who was killing the barista game on that busy morning. (Cheers to Bri đ) As I walked out, Holly continued to greet customers in line, asking what they were waiting on and making sure ALL needs were met. Itâs rare to see such care in the world we live in today. If you need a good Starbucks, go to State Street. You wonât be...
Read moreWith 15 minutes to spare to get to work I came to this coffee shop against my better judgment because Starbucks coffee is usually burnt tasting hoping that me giving this one last chance since no one else is open it wouldnât be too bad today. I ordered my coffee with them as I do with every coffee shop I go to. I ordered a grande for shot Brevi with espresso whip cream and caramel drizzle.I received a tiny little cup with four shots of espresso a little bit of half-and-half and I donât even know if the other toppings Weâre on it I told the lady at the window she said I didnât hear the grande part and went and dumped it into a grande cup but didnât make the drink correctly. I went inside to tell the lady who made the coffee and she said well you didnât order it right you shouldâve ordered a latte and Iâm just not going to fill it up you have to order it correctly. Not Iâm sorry we misunderstood you here let me fix it for you. She was rude as all get out Yep the blonde with the ponytail and the lady at the drive-through with brown hair and a hat. Both completely rude. Thereâs a reason Starbucks sucks itâs not only their coffee beans but their service. And now Iâm late for work for mediocre coffee...
Read moreMy husband and I will never go back to this Starbucks. I was so excited to get one in New Albany but it's been such a disappointment.
The service is very slow. We have often waited 10+ minutes in the drive thru. And very often, they are out of products or their equipment doesn't work. For example, incidents over the past 2 weeks: one day, they had no way to make lattes because the steamers weren't working; on another occasion, they were out of soy milk; very often, they are out of cold brew. When I asked why, they remarked that it takes 22 hours to make. An interesting response. I'm confused by a business that offers one main product, but frequently can't provide the product.
I understand occasional problems. But, sadly, it's always something with this store. I hope management reads these reviews and takes some action to correct the problems. Regardless, we...
