DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. They require someone from your party to leave a drivers license, so I complied and left my property in their care, returned all of their property, only to find out they HAD GIVEN MY DRIVERS LICENSE TO THE WRONG PERSON! When I returned from our trip, the employee attempted to give me the wrong drivers license TWICE. She then informed me that they must have given my drivers license to the wrong person, same last name! NOT ONLY THAT, but we asked to speak to the owner/management since the employees solution was for me to leave and wait for the person to POSSIBLY return my license (mind you they were about to close and I was leaving for home early the next morning, expected to drive now without a drivers license), the employee finally reached out to the owner who refused to speak to me and said she was done for the night. We contacted New Braunfels police who refused to send someone out to file a report, informed us we’d have to file online (just FYI, in new braunfels, that’s apparently how you report lost or STOLEN property). I left my number and was told the owner would reach out the following day, when she did not, I contacted them, was STILL not able to talk to the owner. The only employee that was willing to help was one from their RV company. This occurred 5 days ago and owner has yet to reach out and correct the situation/make it right. Read moreI float different places a lot and this was the worst experience I’ve had so far. They don’t tell you anything up front so make sure you look online or on the small signs they have. They won’t tell you not to bring cans but to look at the sign. The police stopped us 15 minutes in and told us we had to throw all our drinks away or turn back. This was bad cause when we got back it was too late to get back on the River due to the shuttle being done at 8. So if we went back we would have had to walk all the way back to our car. So we had to go back and go home. They will charge you 25 dollars just for an extra tube if you need one for a cooler. They won’t tell you there is no refund once you hit the water but that’s not on the sign so make sure you look online. The whole place seems to be run by young kids who don’t know how to communicate properly. The only sweet person we spoke to was christy who I assume was the owner. She was able to refund our money. Read moreAbsolutely disgusted by the behavior of the so-called “managers” Scott (who first told me his name was Puddin Tain, seriously) and Mikey. Our group got placed on a decline by LRT, and the amount of gas we had wouldn’t allow us to restart the car at the end of the float. Instead of offering any kind of help, Scott sneered, “Well why’d you come here with an empty tank of gas?” as if we planned to be stranded.
When I asked for his name, he arrogantly said “Puddin Tain.” That alone tells you how seriously they take stranded guests. When I called the company later, someone else told me his real name was Scott, and Mikey said “Well, that’s a first for me,” and laughed it off like it was some kind of joke.
Thank god a generous bystander stopped to help us, because clearly the staff wasn’t going to. I understand needing to call AAA, but the complete lack of empathy or even basic decency from this company was outrageous. Zero professionalism. Zero hospitality. Absolutely pathetic customer...
