Lucky Buck's Formal + Wedding — Local services in New Braunfels

Wow! We were really impressed with this consignment store and with the service we received. I visited this shop with my daughter looking for a last minute replacement for a wedding gown she bought online through JJ’s House. The gown was not made correctly and it was a huge ordeal trying to get it altered. We finally gave up and decided to start over. This was one of two shops we visited looking for a replacement. At each of them we found a dress we really liked. Although we ultimately chose the other, it was a hard decision. Lucky Bucks has a great selection, and I appreciated that they only take dresses made in the past couple of years, that the person selling must still have the original tags (first owner), and that they must be dry cleaned and have only minimal imperfections. My daughter tried on some beautiful gown in excellent condition there. Also, the two young women who helped us (Payton and Katie) were very helpful and pleasant. They looked over the notes I had taken about what my daughter likes and brought out dresses that were in that style. And they were absolutely respectful of our budget! I found my wedding dress here a week before my wedding which was a huge blessing! Peyton was very helpful & 9 months pregnant! It is a Mother-Daughter owned shop which I appreciate because my Mom is my best friend. Unfortunately my back-up wedding dress I left for consignment didn’t sell after 7 months & there was a bit of a communication error so make sure to be thorough with all communication & review the consignment contract thoroughly & call them to follow up because they are very busy with limited employees. We live south of Houston and we’re in town for Spring break. My daughter and had decided we would go prom dress shopping while we here. She had her heart set on a lavender dress and we had been struggling to find the right one. I googled and found Lucky Bucks. We went in and we were greeted by a sweet friendly young lady who took the time to tell us how to find what we needed. Another lovely young lady helped take her selections to the dressing room.
