Oh my goodness. Look if you’re coming here to buy, I think it’s pretty good. But if you’re coming here to sell, be ready to be SWINDLED. I brought in a lot of clothes and one employee calculated it in like 30mins to be $31 — I was shocked. I was wild to think I’d get at least 200-250 at minimum. Mostly unworn with tags. I had some things in there that aren’t expensive at all but some that are valued at 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and more. Whistles, Sorel, Anthropologie, FCUK, etc. He told me he valued them all basically at 1$ as they’ll sell them for 12$ (which I know is a lie as I accidentally put in a denim jacket I bought there 29$ the day before and they valued it at 1$ saying they sell that for 12$ lol). Also they said something about buying at what it’s going for now which I also know isn’t true. That whistles bag is selling for 250$ now — LOWEST 85$. Anyway, he was saying it’s 31$ for all at $1 each. I removed the more expensive/valuable ones — about 9 or so of them honestly because I was insulted. His colleague then recounted what’s left and said it was at $29. So tbh I think he just had a look didn’t really calculate at all and gave the lowest balling number possible. Because how could it have been 31$ before I removed 9 items and then 29$ after. Anyway, they’re swindling you. I just left the rest as I was tired. I should have taken them to a charity shop.
So go in prepared to haggle or argue and know the current going price (or sell online) if it’s something valuable, because damn that’s a grift. You’ll spend more on gas going there. For buying it seems good (I guess they can sell like that buy swindling seller 🫠). You can get a Coach bag at 160$ (they probably...
Read moreI was excited to see this open on 10/12/24 and glad it came through! It looks like a lot of thought and care was put into curating the items in the store. This is an excellent place to buy designer items at a discount price. Another thing that makes it special is that you get to see, compare, and select diverse items at the same time. So instead of outlet malls where you have to go to Fendi, LV, Gucci etc you get to see similar items all at once and make a selection. This store has two floors, men’s is at the second floor and I believe there is an elevator. So far my favorite items are the accessories in the display box. I really enjoyed shopping here, shout out to Tina for being an amazing staff! When it comes to selling, unless you are selling high end items you likely won’t make a profit. So just fyi your Zara, H&M, Everlane, etc will be bought as low as a few dollars or cents. So unlike consignment places where you can make a profit on mid to low tier fashion consider those items as good as donated here. They do aunthenticate the higher end items so feel free to bring them. Lastly for shopping the prices are extremely fair even for the more expensive items! You can get purses that sell for thousands of dollars at other high end stores for low hundreds here. Overall great place to shop and great for sustainability. Wishing the store a great run on...
Read moreJust so y'all know, I would rate myself a 1/5 because I was literally screaming in a way that sounded like distress but it wasn't distress it was from joy. But of course the cashier's didn't know so they asked me to stop because looking back on it now it sounded like someone was being harmed in the changing room.
Anyways ...
My shopping experience was phenomenal. I'm a big foot girly with big hands and TODAY I found the style and size of boots and gloves I needed. (Mind you, I've been looking for these items at a reasonable price for months because I am a bargain hunter.)
I literally just came in today to see a friend who is living my dreams of being a Yale student for me. We came and we saw, and thanks to this store location and staff I got what I need. I don't need to prepare for winter, winter needs to prepare for me.
Bless this store, and protect their eardrums next time I...
