I’ve been to many coffee shops, but Gospel Coffee and Boozy Treats quickly became one of my absolute favorites. While I was in town. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cozy yet stylish atmosphere. It feels like the perfect blend of comfort and chic, making it a great place for everything from catching up with friends to enjoying a quiet moment alone. The baristas (Kyle and Zack)are passionate and always ready to help me find the perfect brew or suggest something new to try. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it makes a big difference in the quality of the coffee and treats. But what really sets Gospel Coffee and Boozy Treats apart is their unique menu of boozy treats. I had an matcha iced coffee with lavender and vanilla flavoring that was recommended. I must say it was so good !Their creative with cocktails, coffee , and tea’s with various spirits, are a fun twist that I haven’t seen elsewhere. It’s perfect for when you want to enjoy a coffee in a new and exciting way. The food menu is equally impressive. I’ve tried several items, and enjoyed it. The service here is always warm and welcoming. The staff genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, and it creates such a pleasant, relaxed environment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their coffee experience or just enjoy a great place to hang out.

Excellent morning spot. We are staying next-door at a hotel and gave this place a try first thing. The people are warm and friendly for sure not feeling like I’m in a rushed or being pushed to order as quickly as I can. We’ve actually had a conversation or two with the staff. Let’s go to the important stuff: the drip coffee is excellent. Day two we tried the espresso. I really Excellent pull and the coffee flavor is amazing -, is on a little of the more medium roast side as we prefer dark roast espresso. The last thing I had was the latte- it was smooth, smooth and delicious. We found this place on Poydras down in the CBD. Their drip coffee is coming out of Philadelphia, but it’s super smooth with great flavor and it’s organic. Their espresso is a little on the medium dark side, but it didn’t offend me as much as people who are making espresso out of medium. The folks you seem to know their coffee and they’re pretty nice. If you get a chance to stop in one day, give him a try. Pro tip from a New Orleans local :: enjoy part of your coffee inside the location and then walk just a few steps down the street and enjoy your croissant and coffee at place de Italia.

We visited New Orleans for Taylor Swift weekend. We stumbled upon Gospel Coffee on our first afternoon in dire need of a pick me up. Jordan greeted us at the counter with the most welcoming attitude and warming personality. He greeted every guest in the same manner, introducing himself and his team behind the counter as well. We were so happy with our beverages (the tswift frozen coffee special, and iced vanilla lattes). That we stopped back in on Saturday and again on Sunday. Each time we arrived, we were greated with a warm smile our new friends recognized and remembered us!!!! We tried something new each time and loved everything. Jordan, Kyle, and team made Jayna, Mallory, and Megan, Gospel fans forever. Thank you for your kind hospitality and warm welcome. 10/10 (posted our swiftly selfie!)

So, this was the morning before the big game (raiders vs saints - btw what a game huh?) We came in here wanting coffee and we got it. Easy transaction. The guy who serviced us was just so nice. Like holy heckaroo, that guy deserves to be in top level meetings about top level decision at huge, huge corporations and make a lot of money. His demeanor is so chill and logical. This was on Dec. 29th at 11am. He has a lot of tattoos, which I really dug! I'm thinking about getting some more tats myself and he inspired me even more.

The only knock on this nice little chill ass cafe, is that the staff services the consumers so much, in a way that you absolutely feel welcomed, but it causes a long line inside, bit of a wait time, and people sitting inside dont want to have a bunch of other people standing next to them while they are enjoying their coffee. Just makes it a bit uncomfortable, y'know? Also! The same guy servicing us gave me a large decaf instead of medium, which is great because he was accommodating me for the wait. Honestly, what a dude. No...
