I got my hair bleached and turnt PLATINUM yesterday by the one and only Jeanise -- and my life is forever changed in the most positive and uplifting ways! I've always dreamed of having this LEWK, but I never have the courage before, and Jeanise boldly took me there and then took me further and then further again -- to a place WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE!!! Jeanise is a TRUE ARTIST with REAL VISION and care and craft and she is who you want to see if you want to elevate your hair beyond anywhere it's been before. This new, gorgeous, BEST VIBES salon is warm, welcoming, electric and OVERFLOWING WITH LOVE (and masked, caring SAFETY). The owners of this shop have put their blood, sweat and tears into bringing their dream into reality SO THAT WE MAY ALL BENEFIT FROM THEIR BEAUTIFUL VISION. Please note, this is a good vibes space so I would suggest you bring your BIG OPEN HEART AND MIND when you come here and LEAVE THE GARBAGE AT HOME, HONEY. I have naturally long dark hair, and one summer I chopped it off into a bob and bleached it out. Cue years of trying to recover my hair and grow it back out. But even the new growth somehow felt different. I had seen so many colorists and stylists and I had hair color on top of hair color on top of hair color to try to get back to my luxurious mane that I had regrettably ruined.

When I first saw Jeanise and Chansophalla, I was at my wits end. There were so many layers of color, and my hair texture was dry and damaged. No matter how dark it was colored, and how matched it was to my natural hair color, it would fade to a brassy red because of the layers of hair dye.

Not only did Jeanise take care of me that day with my color, but with Chansophalla, they formulated a hair rehabilitation plan to get me back to my former glory.

Jeanise was so kind, explaining to me the kind of color that was going to be used, and how over time this would help me return to my natural color, as well as help nourish my hair and return it to health. Chansophalla re-styled it to maximize health as well. I felt so heard and taken care of.

Fast forward a couple years later, my mane is back, and my hair is returned to health. My natural curls have returned. And I couldn’t be happier. I cannot recommend these two enough. I recommend this place to everyone who asks about hair, so I might as well recommend 1-900-BLEACH-ME to everyone on the internet as well.

If you find yourself doubting if you want to put your hair in Jeanise’s magic hands, please reconsider and RUN don’t walk to Chansophalla and Jeanise’s salon.

Jeanise’s took my thick, black, Asian hair to a fashion color and did it in a way that kept my hair still feeling healthy and not-dead. It’s bleached, so of course you have to be more deliberate about moisturizing your hair, but Jeanise gives great advice about what you have to do to keep your hair healthy.

The salon is clean, makes me feel safe even during covid, and most importantly FUN, which is necessary when you spend hours in the salon during a double process.

They really know hair, and they were great with my roommate’s curls as well! Another salon hairstylist called Chansophalla’s haircut the best curly haircut she’d seen in 8 years.
