Kara Mortifoglio is an extremely sensitive, and talented pelvic floor PT. If you have Pelvic floor tension due to injury, in my case from bicycle racing through my teens, or stress, or anxiety or PTSD from pelvic trauma you don't want someone physically work on and in this area you don't feel 100% comfortable with. If you don't know how this work might help you, most people aren't even open to discussing it there's so much shame about our pelvis', but it helps let go of traumatic or injury patterns which cause one to tighten up ones pelvic floor, causing constipation, sexual dysfunction, difficulty peeing, and lower back/hip/pelvis spine issues. By having internal and external work, it can release layers of tension and free you for a real life, more enjoyable and confident sexual connection, better digestive health. She's leaving 5 point, but they can send you to her new place. The other people at 5 point seem very caring as well and their place is beautiful. I'm a very satisfied customer. She's also funny, so its not so awk talking/chatting while she's fishing...
Read moreCorey Bindler at 5 point physical therapy has helped me dramatically change my life. After seeing three of the top urologists in NYC that provided no help for my pelvic floor issues, I found 5 point through stellar online reviews. She referred me to the right people to treat my pelvic pain, as well as done great work with pelvic floor physical therapy herself. She has been a great source of information, provides excellent personalized care, and seems to truly care about her patients. Additionally she seems to be very open to learning about new developments in healthcare, and is definitely the best physical therapist i've ever been treated by (and i've unfortunately had many).
I would highly recommend Corey and 5 point Physical Therapy to anyone that has any sort of pelvic...
Read moreWhen my doctor sent me to 5 Point Physical Therapy I was super nervous at first. I didn't know what it would entail and I was uncomfortable about the process. Now, after seeing Kara weekly for some time, I come to look forward to my appointments, something I never thought would be possible! The space is clean and calm, with little touches like a water cooler with mint or fruit, nice decor and a comfy waiting area. The staff are all lovely, the physical therapists are understanding, compassionate, professional and also fun. They really know their stuff and work with you to provide a program that goes beyond the appointments, such as stretches, yoga exercises, mindfulness and dietary tips that can all serve to help.
I really could not recommend 5...
