I've been following Adrian via Instagram for a long time during my search for a skilled barber for women. I've always had a detachment with my hair but my mother was always afraid to cut her hair off. After much convincing, I was finally able to get her to shave it all off due to her disability.

We had an important family function this weekend & needed my mom to get a proper cut and line up. My first thought was to take her to AFG (this would be both of our first times). As soon as we walked in, we were both VERY IMPRESSED by the atmosphere. It gave clean, calm, and luxurious. All of the barbers were kind and professional.

Once Adrian was finished with his previous client, he came over to the waiting area, introduced himself with a very kind smile, got to know us a bit, and asked my mother what her favorite genre of music was, which we appreciated because she was nervous. Once we got into his chair, we had a great conversation about the beauty industry, family background and more. Both my mother and I thoroughly enjoyed him singing and dancing to Jahiem. He was a joy. Before, showing my mom her cut, he asked if she was comfortable with him shaping her brows (which she was elated about).

Once he did her reveal, my mom felt so relieved and happy. She felt beautiful and I was happy and clapping like a little kid. My mother received so many compliments about her hair at our family function. I no longer live in NY but I am considering traveling to NY to get both my son and I serviced at AFG as much as I can (I kept my eyes on the other barbers' work and I must say they are also very skilled).

I barely VERE write reviews...I thought the last review I wrote would be my "LAST" but Adrian Fanus CHANGED everything for me...after hopeless YEARS trying to find a replacement of my stylist who WAS perfect in taking care of my hair, I went through at least 10 different stylist, barbers, (trying to find a replacement of my stylist who was no longer in NY) I suffered a great deal and was about to just give up, I was tired of all the false naysayers. Tired of the SEARCHING endlessly and just drained and exhausted. I FINALLY found Adrian on Instagram, I made my appointment on line and from INCEPTION, the "VIBE" and ENERGY I received from Adrian and his staff was so heartfelt and comforting. he said "trust me"..and that is ALL I could do... I was PLEASED with my cut from Adrian!!!!!. Out of all the "cuts" I had endured in the past THREE YEARS from so many stylist, Barbers, I NEVER had my hair grow out Clean without ANY ruggedness until ADRIAN cut my hair...u see, all the cuts I had before ADRIAN would look "ok" until , My HAIR would Grow out after a week or so...It has been TWO weeks after my cut with Adrian Fanus and for the FIRST**** time in THREE years and 10-15 other stylist my hair is FINALLY growing in smoothly the way it is Supposed to when professionally cut!!! I am SO SO Happy and thank GOD for you Adrian!....After you have tried the Rest, get with "ONE" of the VERY* "BEST" ...Adrian Fanus!!!! You will NOT be dissapointed!!!!!!
