El Regalo de Juquila — Restaurant in New York

Literally the worst delivery experience of my life, for equally horrible food. I ordered through grub hub really late on a Saturday night/Sunday morning. I called ahead of time to make sure they were open and received my request. They said they did, So I proceeded to order for my friends and I. I noticed it was over an hour and a half and the food was 30 Minutes late, so I call the restaurant (which is not far from my location at all) and ask if they're still delivering my order. They say the guy should be here in 10 minutes. I call again 20 minutes after, no answer from the restaurant of course. I call Grubhub to either contact them or cancel my order, they magically contact the restaurant who also tells them "10 minutes". So I wait 15 and call Grubhub again to definitively cancel. As I'm leaving my friends house to go home 20 mins after the call was made, the delivery guy shows up..... and demands I take the food because he didn't know I cancelled. I argued back and forth with him and finally decide to take it because he was being obnoxious and wouldn't leave. (I was also starving) The tacos were horrible. Point in case, they're rude, the food isn't worth the wait, and they lie to their clients. If you love yourself and your friends, order anywhere...

Most horrible restaurant experience of my life one of the workers actually touched me in an inapropriety way. The food wasn’t bad but I can’t believe how I was treated. We had a To go order Lamb soup and a cheese Empanada, and a Burrito, the forgot and didn’t charge me for the burrito. But they charged for the Empenada and yet forgot it in the bag. They didn’t even put a piece of bread in the soup, which maybe is their style of less is more. But when I returned to complain that they forgot the Empanada thy insisted they aren’t stupid and that I’m a lyer trying to get free food. It’s the principal “I paid for food you didn’t give” then they finally gave me the empanada but then the manager was very rude ordering me immediately out of te returaunt. Then as I was leaving the manager followed me and actually gave me a shove out the door. He actually pushed me. And I was obviously leaving anyways. It was just like a macho thing he felt like doing I guess. These guys a jerks they don’t disearve...

WE KEEP GETTING SICK AFTER WE EAT HERE :( We’re local and really want this to be the regular spot. The food is so good, but every time we eat here, we end up feeling sick the next day. Not just “eh, my stomach’s off”, I’m talking full bathroom takeover. Yesterday I got nachos, but they forgot the chicken. Honestly, that may have saved me. My man had three tacos: pollo, carne asada, and chorizo. We split one shrimp taco. I’m totally fine today. He’s not. It hit him hard this morning, and he’s been sweating and stuck in the bathroom all day. We gave it another shot because it was really busy and we figured the food would be fresh. But this isn’t the first time we've gotten sick after eating here, and at this point, something’s definitely not right with how the meat is being handled. We’re genuinely bummed about it. The flavors are fire. But getting sick every time just...
