Natural Blend - Bushwick — Restaurant in New York

This location just left a bad feel to my vibe. I went there to get a plantain porridge because the Malcolm X location ran out. Online it states $6. When I got to this location the counter clerk rang me up for $7.50. When I brought it to her attention, she states it's been $7.50 for a while. Which kind of threw me off a bit because I've been getting porridge from their multiple locations all summer. So then I asked, does each location have their own price?, to which she replied they should not be.

I also mentioned the price states $6 online. Her response was "maybe they didn't update them yet."

I went back to their website, and just realized each location does have different prices. Isn't this one company? Why are the prices different if each location is supplying the same thing?

Don't get me wrong, but I think we're shelling out a bit much already for restaurant food these days and owners have to do what they have to do. But this is so unacceptable. 😒

If you blink you will miss this place but boy will you be mad if you do. This place rocks! I go to the cleaners right next door and I didn't know this place existed. My bad people.... My bad. I was in a new plane of existence when I visited this spot. I'm not a coffee dude like that but whatever they were brewing up had me interested and ready to spend big bucks. So I did. This place is like a beach side resort meets Juan Valdez with the donkey and many sacks of coffee on his back. I ordered the ackee and saltfish with bakes and I ordered the chocolate dream shake with sea moss. Guys and gals order the chocolate dream with an extra shot of sea moss. The menu also listed curry chicken, pork ribs and other Jamaican culinary delights but done with a New York gastro- futuristic vibe. The food is good - the vibe is Macintosh meets Jam rock and the staff is attentive and informative. Since my workplace is located nearby, I've been hearing about this restaurant for a very long time. You should definitely check it out for yourself because, believe me when I say this, this place is much more than I had anticipated. Talk is cheap to begin with, they had outstanding service, affordable prices, and wonderful food 😋 🤤. Just because I'd heard it's great, I went there for the green juice. Since I work a lot like seven days a week, it was well needed and when I drank that first sip of the green juice, I felt like my whole body was recovering and healing at the same time. "THE HEALING GREEN JUICE" is the name I give it. Perhaps after this, they will rename it 😂. However, the sandwich I had was great and tasty I told them to surprise me with a sandwich and I was definitely surprised. I will definitely be going back for my healing...
