ahma Rx — Local services in New York

I am a HUGE fan of Ahma rx! Their service, follow-through, proficiency and warmth are galaxies above any other pharmacy In which I have been a patient. There has always been one script I would receive from them and it was promptly ready and home delivered. Annette, or one of the other pharmacists, would contact me immediately to set up delivery and it arrived in my mailbox ( I live mostly full-time, a few hours from NYC) in a day! Their communication skills are paramount. And never, ever a wait on the phone to reach a pharmacist—which is such a rarity these days. And then, one day over the phone, Annette went over all my other scripts I get frustratingly filled by a Local CVS, and she said I could have them all home delivered. And she switched the available scripts from CVS to Ahma and they were promptly delivered. No more waiting on long lines! No more confusion over scripts that were supposed to be filled when I came to pick them up at CVS. Use Ahma rx! Even if you don’t live close to them. You will receive OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE, I promise you! I do go into NYC often, and I have full intentions of going into the pharmacy to meet Annette and the team, and the owner John, to tell them face to face, how much I appreciate them, and how they have reduced so much of my stress I have endured having to deal with CVS—trying to actually reach a CVS pharmacist on the phone and picking up prescriptions there. Terrible service. They promised me that my injectable medication would arrive my doctors within 2 days via their express delivery. I called them AND emailed them about how important it was to ensure my medication arrive at my doctors on time since I was in a lot of pain and needed it soonest and had a flight to leave the country next day. I told them to call me if they weren’t sure the meds wouldn’t arrive in time. I didn’t hear from them and When I got to my doctors appt after communicating nearly 3 hours they told me the medication did NOT arrive!!?? I’m so furious. I emailed Ahma and have not heard back from them. I called and they nonchanlantly said it would arrive likely late or next day. Horrible. Now I need to wait a month when I get back to the USA to get this necessary medication which needs to be refrigerated. Please go elsewhere! You can get same medications anywhere else with more organized professionals that will track and keep you updated on expensive medication. Super unprofessional, and...

What can I say about Ahma Pharmacy! There’s to many good things to say about the workers at Ahma. I will say this, from my years of experience with dealing with the workers at this pharmacy is exceptional! They are hands down the best I have ever had to deal with. They are all very professional patient, kind, and go above and beyond for their patients. I have only dealt with the females that work there and they have treated me like I was one of their family members. To name a few, Grace, Lavern, Ashley and Annette. I know for sure that I am leaving other names out, but it does not matter who you get, that are all the same. I am humbled and greatly appreciate the help you girls have showed me and I will forever be grateful! Keep up the good work, and if any of your bosses sees this review, these girls deserve a RAISE!
