I went here because I live in the area. Upon my appointment I had asked them the price of what I was looking to have done since I was going to a family event the next day.
I wanted Acrylic Nails with tips and a pedicure. They refused to tell me the price and insisted to go sit to have my pedicure service begin. They continued to ignore my question about price range. I then proceeded to have my pedicure done. I must say it came out very nice. As I sat and had my pedicure the atmosphere was very calming and a very clean place.
As soon as my pedicure was completed they sat me at the table to begin working on my hands. That's exactly when things took a left turn. The woman who was supposed to do my nails left me to go watch a woman get massaged for 20 Minutes and abandoned me at the table as I watched her watch another worker messaging a customer as she had a manicure done at the same time.
I couldn't understand why she would do that. After waiting 15 Minutes I asked her politely if she's coming back to do my nails she said, " yes". She then turned and give me her back. She did this twice and slowly time turned into 30 minute's of me watching this madness. (No I was not upset at all just confused as to how they can treat people this way). I
I turned to an available worker who explained to me that she did not know how to do tips. Seeing that that woman who was supposed to do my nails refused to begin the job I asked the available worker to just do a standard Mani so I could get out of there. The nice available worker agreed to do a simple manicure to help me she was amazingly kind hearted and understood clearly what was happing. She was the beauty in this experience.
However, due to being ignored several times over pricing and ignored for service made me realize I will never go back, which is a shame since I currently live right over...
Read more10 out of 10 would not recommend. They do not want black clientele and are not subtle about hiding it. Regretfully I patronized this shop twice and both times the experience was horrible. The first time my husband prepaid for my manicure and pedicure. I needed to have my gel polish soaked off so it was an added fee, no problem. However as I'm still soaking the polish off a worker behind the register came over to me saying my services were paid for but I still need to pay to have polish removal and tip. My manicure did not even start yet. Immediately uncomfortable, went again recently. I walked in asked for a manicure pedicure, I was asked if I had an appointment. I said no, she said idk the wait is going to be really long. The place was not packed, I was the only one waiting. So I asked how long, she says about 20 minutes. 20 minutes isn't a long time so why discourage me? A white lady walked in a few minutes before me and asked for a manicure and pedicure and they seated her immediately. She was not asked if she had appt nor told to wait. I left and spent my money elsewhere. So sad that Black Women have to experience this type of treatment in 2023 and there's no regulation on these type of practices. Racist AF, don't spend...
Read moreI called and made an appointment for acrylic and was told it would be possible. I went in looking to get a fill in for my acrylic. She told me it was $70 & $20 to fix two nail. I said okay (even though I thought it was pricey I was cutting time close for my event and went anyways being that it is close to my home) I was nervous about coming to a new salon and I was very specific about how I wanted it. The woman Helen kept rough handling my hand and was complaining about how much She had to file and she proceeded to hurt my nail bed as she's filing she then handed me over to the next woman who also was complaining and at this point I'm crying and upset because my nails are looking horrible. I then asked her to stop because I just didn't like the energy I was receiving I told her I would pay for the service in which they attempted. My nails look horrible I told her I had an event to do the next day and they were still very nasty and rude about it. Please do not support...do not step foot. They are nasty and rude and if you aren't a white woman they will not treat...
